The Network Engineer will contribute to the implementation and maintenance of these networks by performing installation of network equipment, remediation of network issues and proactively managing network components. To ensure that essential services are provided to the university community, the employee may be required to work outside their regular working hours as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Implement and troubleshoot network infrastructure solutions; Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues; Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on network hardware and software; Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, etc.);Diagnose and resolve network-related issues; Provide second and third-tier technical support.
