Position Overview

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

This role is responsible for delivering major transformational initiatives, including AWS Landing Zone deployment, application migration, data center reengineering and consolidation, and multi-cloud rationalization. As a Lead Cloud Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining MUFG's network infrastructure across cloud environments and on-premises facilities, including data centers and office locations. The Network Engineer role is a vital part of our Professional Services team. Location and Work Expectations
This is an on-site position based in our Tampa, FL office
Monday - Friday 8am-5pm EST; this role also includes participation in a rotating on-call schedule that includes weekends.
What you will be doing
Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data networks.
Support network applications, routers, firewalls, VoIP, and wireless technologies.
Participate in trouble ticket management and document all work performed.
Create and maintain network diagrams as changes are made.
Ability to receive, take ownership, document, and work on all levels of network-related tickets in the helpdesk system.
Design, document, implement, monitor, and support TCP/IP local and wide-area networks using Cisco, Meraki, Unifi, Watchguard, and other industry-standard equipment and practices.
Work closely with the Service Desk as an escalation point for networking issues.
Configure/Troubleshoot/Modify Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti Unifi, and other various brands of network equipment.
Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Communication with customers as required; keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
Process improvement & automation.
