Network Engineer plays a critical role in supporting DoD contracts and Joint Mission Integration and Experimentation (JMIE) infrastructure by providing expertise in network architecture and transport engineering. Partnering directly with customers, the engineer plans, designs, implements, and sustains secure communications and transport solutions that enable reliable data exchange across classified facilities and cloud environments. Essential Functions: • Verify stability and portability of networks and software • Communicate project information through technical reports • Perform ongoing hardware and software maintenance operations, including installing or upgrading hardware or software • Provide technical guidance or support for the development or troubleshooting of systems • Work on field testing on 3GPP standards based on cellular system such as GSM, EDGE, WCDMA, HSPA, LTE and 5G.
