Key Responsibilities:
Application Performance & Server Capacity (Primary Focus)
Partner with Application Developers to verify new applications meet performance expectations without impacting existing systems.

Network & Voice/Telephony Support
Support day-to-day LAN, WAN, and Wireless operations and maintenance.
Provide Level 1/2 support for network connectivity, VoIP, telephony, and client hardware/software issues.
Assist with installation and configuration of phones, routers, LAN switches, WAPs, telephony hardware, and appliances.
Perform routine network health checks, validation testing, and incident resolution.
Assist with service packs, firmware updates, hotfixes, and system patching.
Maintain documentation for network/voice infrastructure and support tickets.
Manage device inventory, RMAs, equipment returns, and tracking.
Support backup systems, diagnostic tools, and monitoring platforms (TeamTrack, SolarWinds, etc.).
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
2-6 years experience in server performance, capacity analysis, or application performance engineering.
Strong expertise with Windows-based servers, metrics, and performance tools.
Hands-on experience in LAN/WAN/Wireless network environments.
Knowledge of telephony, VoIP, and enterprise voice systems .
Experience with troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and ops support.
Ability to work 100% onsite.

We are seeking an experienced Sr. NetworkEngineer to support US Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) at Schofield Barracks HI. NETCOM implemented the enterprise Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC), Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS), and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solution that provides Army users with secure access to classified networks. The CSfC capability is known as Virtual Secure - Remote (ViSR) and supports remote SIPRNet access for up to 2,000 concurrent users initially but could be scalable up to 15,000 concurrent users as the Government continues to onboard users. The successful candidate will lead the Operations and Maintenance activities and provide engineering support to expand the capacity of the customer's ViSR solution set. The candidate will also provide support to implement the solution architecture in other NETCOM areas of operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the Intermediate NetworkEngineer to operate and maintain the Commercial Solution for Classified (CSfC) ViSR system.
Ensure system is in compliance with requirements set forth by the NSA, DoD.
Responsible for management and oversight of all aspects of the installed system including routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS devices, server hardware, software applications, continuous monitoring, data collection, and the security posture.
Develop and implement system topologies and configurations based on operational requirements and objectives.
Create architecture diagrams, develop IP Address tables, cable running lists and other system architecture documents.
Configure/manage PKI Certificate Authorities for CSfC solutions

Review organization and IT system security controls and enforcement mechanisms to ensure an effective IA security program including boundary defense, end-point defense, incident detection and response, and key management.
Support all Cross-Domain solution operational requirements
Support the installation of new or modified hardware, operating systems, and software applications ensuring integration with IA security requirements for the organization.
Aid in the development of standardized system documentation, including configuration guides, test procedures, test results, and training materials.
Collaborate with other operations departments to improve infrastructure
Take charge of troubleshooting of system outages for Tier 2 and 3 systems until returned to service.

Responsibilities
