Job Description
The IT Access Control Technician will support both Information Technology and Facilities/Security functions to ensure employees have safe, seamless access to company facilities and the technology resources they need. This role is part of the Service Delivery team within Enterprise Operations and collaborates closely with Security, Facilities, and HR partners. The position may be based in several U.S. office locations, with occasional travel to other sites as needed.
What You'll Do:
Manage physical access control and badge issuance processes for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Support onboarding and offboarding workflows to ensure proper access is granted and removed.
Maintain accurate records of access permissions and perform routine audits for compliance and consistency.
Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues and support general IT service needs as part of the Service Delivery team.
Assist with device preparation, inventory tracking, and setup for new team members.
Contribute to facility and infrastructure projects, including new location integrations and upgrades to security-related systems.
Document procedures, workflows, and support guidelines to ensure continuity and clarity across teams.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
Applicant must have le for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide technical support and instruction for C2PC, Tactical Common Server (TCS), Joint Battle Command-Platform (JBC-P), TAK/TAKX, MAVEN, and related C2 applications.
Configure, deploy, and maintain tactical servers and networks in support of regimental and higher headquarters.
Support Watch Officer/Watch Chief Courses and Battle Staff Training by enabling integration of C2 systems and collaborative tools.
Conduct system troubleshooting, testing, and validation to maintain operational readiness. Develop and deliver system-specific training materials, lesson plans, and quick reference guides.
Serve as a technical liaison for Marine Corps, Joint, and coalition partners during exercises and operations.
Assist in integrating intelligence and operational injects into training events to enhance realism and mission readiness.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, system accreditation, and network security protocols. Provide mentorship and over-the-shoulder instruction to Marines in classroom and field environments.
Support system upgrades, patches, and sustainment in coordination with higher headquarters and program offices.
Analyze, test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems.
Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment.
Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility so that information can be shared.
Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
EXPERIENCE:
Ten (10) years of experience in network systems administration or C2 systems support in military or joint operational environments.
Proficiency in system configuration and administration of TCS, C2PC, JBC-P, TAK/TAKX, MAVEN, MMC, and handheld/mobile C2 solutions.
Strong understanding of network architectures, tactical communications, and server deployment.
Demonstrated ability to deliver technical training and curriculum development. Familiarity with SIPRNET, NIPRNET, JWICS, and associated collaboration tools. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED.
Must be Cyber Security Work Force (CSWF) certified for Information Assurance Technician Level II (IAT-II). This requires one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, CND and SSCP. Must have one of these certifications at time of hire and it must remain active.

1. Asset Preparation & Deployment: 1.1. Prepare network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) for deployment. 1.2. Tag devices with RFID labels or asset tags per configuration and labeling guidelines. 1.3. Ensure all devices are deployment-ready per client specifications. 1.4. Deploy network hardware at client sites, ensuring proper installation and connectivity. 2. Inventory Management & Tracking: 2.1. Track incoming and outgoing network assets using the client's Configuration Management Database (CMDB). 2.2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs using asset management software. 2.3. Organize and store network hardware in designated warehouse areas. 5.2. Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and ensuring a safe work environment. 5.3. Assist in loading and unloading shipments of network hardware. 6. Documentation & Reporting: 6.1. Document all hardware movements, inventory updates, deployments, and project related activities. 6.2. Submit daily reports to the Warehouse Coordinator and Network Operations team. .3. Ensure compliance with client policies for asset management and documentation. 7. Cross-Team Collaboration: 7.1. Collaborate with Network Engineering and IT teams to meet hardware needs and support project timelines. 7.2. Provide feedback to optimize warehouse, asset management, and deployment processes.
