Responsibilities Depending on your rating (AE or AT), you may: Troubleshoot and repair complex aircraft systems, including digital computers, fiber optics, infrared detection, radar, and laser electronics. Maintain electrical power generation and distribution systems. Test and calibrate aircraft instruments and automatic flight controls. Perform micro-miniature module repair on circuit cards.
