Job Details
This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.
Parts will be provided for you by the manufacturers. They are typically held at FedEx for you to pick up in the morning. You will be provided with shipping labels and materials to return the removed parts.

Summary

Responsibilities
Configure, install and maintain various network technologies for a multi-site environment such as, routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VoIP, VPN, dark fiber, WAVE Circuits.
Perform daily network operations ensuring the Data Center and Enterprise network are functioning at peak performance.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades which includes service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configuration.
Monitor and analyze network performance, identify and troubleshoot network issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.
Analyze and interpret network traffic and workload to maintain 99.999% uptime.
Provide consistent and effective solutions in areas related to congestion, infrastructure upgrades, and routine troubleshooting.
Manage on-going network security as well as ensure proper setup and configuration. Identify areas of weakness and recommend resolution.
Stay current with the latest trends and standards in industry, bringing forward solutions.
Assist our IT Helpdesk to resolve issues related to network.

Qualifications
Skills and Abilities
Advanced Cisco background in WAN/LAN & wireless as well as L2/L3 maintenance monitoring strongly preferred.
Practical knowledge of Fortinet platforms, such as FortiGate Firewalls, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and FortiCloud strongly preferred.
Experience with Network Access Control systems such as Cisco ISE
Strong practical knowledge of troubleshooting, routing, and switching protocols, such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, STP, TCP/IP, IP Sec, and Multicast.
Experience with the following areas is a plus
Control/OT Networks, Cisco DNAC leveraging SDA, SolarWinds HCO Enterprise, Cisco Phone Systems and QoS, Dell RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines, Access Points and Wireless LAN Controllers.

**Summary**
This position will provide day-to-day plant systems support to plant and distribution center inventory control, warehouse management, product labeling, and other manufacturing systems components as they relate to processing plant operations, control and supply chain management systems. Supports call documentation, problem resolution, and specialized user support will be provided. Proper call trails will be maintained for future reference and follow-up services. Software/hardware testing and change control will be completed to minimize/eliminate adverse impact of system changes to overall supply chain infrastructure. Assists the Applications, Infrastructure, and Telecommunications Support teams in change and version management and problem resolution. Enforces Corporate Manufacturing Systems policy, procedures and best practices.
**Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Provides support for all information and manufacturing system operations activities (multi-shift), including computer and network operations, troubleshooting, data control/security, documentation, software version control, change control, security, backup/recovery and system performance.
+ Demonstrates skills necessary to support all supply chain applications, process control, scaling/labeling, desk top computing and network.
+ Understands the hardware, software and applications from a users' standpoint to ensure proper problem resolution.
