Position
We are seeking a On-site Field Network Technician to join our service team in the Denver, CO area.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Knowledge of network connectivity, network security and Wi-Fi networks.
Good understanding of Windows servers environment and common operating systems
Ability to work with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical some non-technical)
Ability to lead clients through discovery phase (asking the right questions)
Aggressive problem solver
Ability to travel locally to different clients
Ability to communicate through phone / email / written documentation
Qualifications
Previous network field experience
Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (SMTP, FTP, SMB, Ports, TCP/IP)
Knowledge and hands-on experience providing support to users using Windows Desktop Operating Systems and other mainstream Microsoft applications
Strong communication skills and ability to work cohesively with clients
Valid Driver s license and clean driving record
Bonus Skill Set
Good understanding of Mac OS environment
CompTIA Network+ certified
Previous experience working in managed IT services
Basic understanding of VOIP technology
