Lead and mentor the US Operations team supporting the Calastone business, strengthening capability, performance, and delivery of operational objectives.
Proactively monitor production services to ensure reliability, stability, and performance; own first-line assistance to internal and external customers and drive timely, accurate issue resolution.
Run service governance and knowledge-sharing rhythms to close skill gaps; partner with Operations leadership and Service Transition to increase first-line resolution rates.
Build and maintain executive-level client relationships through proactive engagement, service reviews, and escalation management; identify service optimization opportunities and communicate them to senior management.
Act as the escalation point for complex regional referrals and as incident manager for service incidents, driving structured investigation, root-cause analysis, and rapid resolution.
Coordinate code releases and client communications with QA and Development; validate pre-production checks and standards prior to release.
Partner with implementation teams to capture production requirements during client setup and ensure smooth transition into live operations.
Coordinate with customers, internal technical teams, and data-center providers during implementations with clear, efficient communication.
Contribute to continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, and adoption of best practices.
Participate in an on-call rotation; support offset coverage for East and West Coast operations.
What You Will Bring:
Significant experience in incident management, application support, and operations in a client-facing financial services environment.
Ability to serve as Change Manager; strong knowledge of ITIL 4 Change Enablement practices.
Demonstrated experience across project delivery life cycles using industry best practices; broader ITIL knowledge beneficial.
Familiarity with transactional or real-time banking services; exposure to Liquidity Portals, Money Markets, or Mutual Funds is advantageous.
Technical proficiency across databases/SQL, MQ, SWIFT, ISO 15022/20022, FIX, XML, authentication/certification, and secure FTP.
Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform.
Calm, professional presence under pressure; inclusive leadership, strong communication, and high attention to detail.

What you'll get to do:
Reporting to the QA Director, the QA Lead Engineer will oversee QA testing within an agile project for one of Calastone's products or functional areas. They'll manage all QA activities, providing regular progress updates to stakeholders and highlighting risks or blockers.
The role involves close collaboration with Engineering, Product, Operations, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality applications supported by automated regression tests built in C# using a Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) approach.
As the QA Lead, the individual will plan and coordinate testing activities, delegate tasks, and mentor QA Engineers, ensuring industry-standard testing practices are applied. They will also contribute to the QA team's development by sharing knowledge, running learning sessions, and maintaining the QA knowledge base.
Success in this role requires a strong grasp of Calastone's technical and functional landscape and a deep understanding of automated testing strategies.
What you will get to do:
Oversee QA activities and serve as the primary QA contact for the assigned project.
Report to the QA Director and ensure the QA Strategy is consistently applied across all relevant projects.
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks built on .NET Core with C# and BDD.
Drive the integration of automated testing solutions into the engineering build pipeline (Continuous Integration) using GitHub Actions.
Facilitate integration testing between products, using stubs and drivers where appropriate.
Mentor, support, and coach QA Engineers and Senior QA Engineers in their professional growth.
Monitor and report on automated test coverage, ensuring visibility for key stakeholders.
Develop and maintain a Test Plan and Approach for the project, aligned with Calastone's QA Strategy.
Prepare QA release documentation in line with Calastone's QA standards.
Maintain clear, open, and transparent communication with stakeholders on QA progress, highlighting risks or potential impacts.
Conduct exploratory testing to support Calastone's agile delivery approach and align with QA best practices.
Build a strong understanding of Calastone's products and functionality.
Follow recognised best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
What you will bring:
Proven experience leading QA teams and managing people, including delivery of high-profile, time-sensitive projects.
Strong background in financial technology, with hands-on experience testing financial data, systems, and messaging formats (XML, JSON, FIX, SFTP, Swift).
Understanding of the European Mutual Funds and/or Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) markets (advantageous).
Proficiency in object-oriented programming, ideally C# (preferred) or Java, and developing .NET-based automated testing frameworks using BDD tools such as SpecFlow or Reqnroll.
Expertise in automating REST API and UI testing with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright (preferred).
Experience testing event-driven services, including those using Azure Service Bus and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS).
Skilled in configuring CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions workflows (YAML).
Strong understanding of QA automation methodologies, tools, and agile processes.
Knowledge of testing techniques such as equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis.
Experience with non-functional testing (performance, load, stress), ideally using NeoLoad.
Proficiency in writing SQL queries and analysing relational databases.
Familiarity with AI tools such as Copilot, LLMs, or MCPs to enhance test automation (advantageous).
Competent in Microsoft technologies including Visual Studio, Azure, Word, Excel, and Windows environments.
Clear, confident communicator able to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
ISTQB Software Testing certification (or equivalent).

What You Will Get To Do
Organize, and facilitate remote and in-person training classes, webinars, workshops, and other forms of training delivery.
Contribute to developing, evaluating, and improving various training programs, projects, and related services.

**Responsibilities**
**An average day:**
AsLinux Systems Administrator II, you will support the reliability, security, and performance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments. This role focuses on day-to-day operations, patching, incident response, and system monitoring within a highly regulated federal environment. You will follow established change management processes, respond to service requests and incidents, configure servers for monitoring, and contribute to small- to medium-scale projects. Strong adherence to compliance standards and attention to detail are essential.In this position you will:
+ Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems, ensuring compliance with customer standards and policies.
+ Apply system patches and updates using Red Hat Satellite in accordance with established change management and patching processes.
+ Configure and maintain monitoring of servers using SolarWinds Orion, including adding and managing server nodes.
+ Respond to incidents and service requests, working within defined SLAs.
+ Participate in project-based work, including deployments, upgrades, and process improvements.
+ Collaborate with team members to document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
+ Monitor system performance and availability, escalating issues as needed.
+ Follow security and compliance requirements, coordinating with cybersecurity teams when necessary.
+ Participate in on-call after hours IT infrastructure support rotation.
+ Track and manage work using approved ITSM tools.
**Qualifications**

+ 2-4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or related IT role, with hands-on experience managing Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
+ Experience with Red Hat Satellite or similar patch management platforms.
+ Familiarity with change control processes in enterprise environments.
+ Experience configuring and maintaining system monitoring (SolarWinds Orion or similar).
+ Experience supporting and troubleshooting production systems.
+ Basic understanding of networking concepts and system security best practices.
+ Ability to follow detailed procedures while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
+ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
+ Must possess a valid state driver's license, may be required to travel between customer sites.
**Pay Transparency Statement for Epsilon**
Epsilon is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $72,543.00/Yr. - USD $143,047.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
