Neuroscience Group has an immediate opening in our Medical Records department for a full time clerk. This position is located at our Neenah clinic and would work M-F 8 hours per day. The Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for supporting the timely and accurate processing of clinic information associated with the medical record, as well as other clerical and support tasks required to respond to the daily needs of a busy medical practice.
For almost thirty five years, Neuroscience Group has provided excellent neurologic care for the Fox Valley and Northeast Wisconsin. Ours is the only medical facility in the area that combines neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedic spine surgery, interventional and non-interventional pain management, and physical therapy. Requirements:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regularly attends and contributes positively to team and organizational meetings.
Maintain physical and technical safeguards as it relates to HHS, HIPAA, and HITECH regulations

Organization of office space. Keeping areas neat, clean, and orderly
Patient Care
Patient label printing and daily distribution
Uploading imaging reports and/or studies when appropriate
Use EMR to search, obtain, and send medical records to patients or business associates
Scanning and importing paper medical records to the EMR
Troubleshoot status requests
Burn studies to CDs for patient and business associate requests of studies
Receive and respond to release of information request
Administrative
Supports and promotes the mission and strategic vision of the organization.
Receive phone calls and communicate effectively with internal and external resources
Maintain a log of requests and disclosures
Receiving, sorting, and sending incoming faxes to the appropriate teams within the clinic.
Communication with clinic providers for signatures, documentation, and forms processing
Print letters on company letterhead
Rounding of facility for fax, form, and other paper documents needing processing
Faxing documents to external sources using machine and cloud-based technologies
Responding to and routing of provider and staff messages in a timely fashion
Troubleshoot basic fax and copy machine deficiencies
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, technical school or higher education preferred.
Proficient in EPIC and the various EMR technologies.
Proficient in PACs software for medical imaging
Basic computer knowledge, with training in Microsoft Office technologies
Good communication skills
Ability to work under deadlines
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Requires frequent position change including standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
Will involve lifting supplies up to 40 pounds.
Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment.
Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to communicate and function within this setting.

Neuroscience Group has variable FTE positions available, including PRN / Casual, for team-oriented X-ray Technologist(s). The Technologist performs radiology exams at a technical level that requires independent judgment. They operate ionizing radiation equipment using ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed protocols related to radiology technology for the diagnosis of various diseases. The Technologist also assumes responsibility for coordinating procedures, applies radiation safety, and attends to patient's needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares patient for radiologic procedures by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving/adjusting equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
Documents accurate medical history in patient records.
Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of procedures; answering questions.
Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
Assists with preparing patients for MR exams by reviewing patient medical history and safety screening form.
Performs venipuncture while maintaining proper laboratory techniques to obtain lab specimens and prepare for processing. Maintain accurate identification of laboratory specimens and requisitions.
Performs IV starts.
Follows prescribed safety standards in operating radiologic equipment, body mechanics, and patient movement.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to X-RAY exams and equipment.
Knowledge of imaging equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
Knowledge/skill of operating PACS system for storing of digital imaging.
Maintain procedure rooms and stocks medical and radiologic supplies as necessary.
Ability to prioritize and have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Maintain accurate records as directed.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Work as a team member within the radiology department and all other departments.
Attend seminars/meetings and incorporate new procedures and/or revise protocols to improve patient diagnostics.
Requires adherence to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
Completion of an accredited Radiology program required with current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to properly position patients to provide quality imaging.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, management, and peers.
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to sufficiently pinpoint area for imaging.

Refer patients to specialists as needed.
Collaborate with NorthLakes providers as well as external resources and providers in the best interest of the patients' continuation of care.
Work collaboratively with NorthLakes support staff in the care and treatment of patients including Registered Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, and office staff.
Be mindful of and maximize integration of care within NorthLakes services.
DDS/DMD degree from US accredited dental school
Must have completed a Pediatric Dentistry Residency to become a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist.

Provide client with hygiene care as directed including, but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, linen changes and light housekeeping
Prepare and administer meals according to client's diet
Take and record vital signs, as well as height and weight, if necessary
Assist client in active and passive range of motion defined by the plan of care, document observed changes and report any changes to the Director of Nursing
Assist client in walking and transportation to doctor appointments, outdoor activities and shopping
Develop and promote a safe environment for quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures and standards
Ensure client's rights are adhered to
Required Skills
Licensed driver with reliable transportation that is insured in accordance with the organization's requirements
Ability to adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
Ability to travel up to 30 minutes as needed for client care service needs as well as staff and business needs including job required training and conferences.

JOB SUMMARY
