Position Summary
The Bus Driver contributes to the Mission and Vision by ensuring customers get to and from school in a safe and timely manner and support with school operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Support NBHS by attending community service and outreach activities.
● Monitor adherence to school policies and procedures before, during and after school.
● Provide excellent customer service.
● Assist with recruitment, marketing, and retention of students.
● Attend school related functions and meetings.
● Complete reports (as requested).
● Transport clients too and from school and drop off locations.
● Conduct daily pre/post checklists of buses and inspections.
● Ensure that assigned buses are clean, sanitized, and safe.
● Monitor operating conditions of buses.
● Communicate with parents/guardians about behaviors on and off the bus.
● Set-up school facilities upon request.
● Support school Mission by assisting with home visits.
● Clean and maintain all food service equipment and assist with the food service program.
● Conduct daily safety pre-screening of NBHS bus riders.
● Assist in ensuring that all visitors, students and staff are following NBHS safety guidelines.
● Restock campus cleaning supplies.
● Stay abreast of education related to bus maintenance.
● Assist other campuses (as needed).
● Conduct annual review and propose appropriate updates to the Bus Driver Reference &Procedures Manual.
● Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
● High School diploma or equivalent
● Must possess a valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
● Must have P and S Endorsements
● Must have up to date Medical Card
● A minimum of 1 year of prior experience driving a school bus (preferred)
● Knowledge of general bus maintenance
● Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance
● Knowledge of basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Pages) (preferred)
● Background check and fingerprinting clearance

Physical Environment

Driving a school bus, stooping, and climbing. The ability to lift, carry, move and/or position objects infrequently weighing up to50 pounds. This position may serve multiple campuses and require travel.

Position Summary
The CTE Innovation Teacher - Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT) will deliver hands-on instruction in modern manufacturing processes, fabrication, and safety while integrating elements of engineering design and robotics. This role prepares students for industry-recognized certifications (i.e., OSHA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and high-demand careers through project-based learning that emphasizes real-world application, problem-solving, and workforce readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, hands-on instruction in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT), integrating concepts from engineering design and robotics to prepare students for high-demand technical careers.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards, CAPE certifications, and industry expectations.
Instruct students in safe operation of tools, machinery, and technology while maintaining a clean, organized lab environment.
Enforce strict safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements in all lab and manufacturing activities to prevent injury and ensure full compliance with OSHA and school safety standards.
Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support learning, certification attainment, and employability skills.
Collaborate with local industry partners to ensure curriculum reflects current manufacturing technologies, processes, and workforce needs.
Coordinate with community and industry partners to secure materials, donations, and resources that enhance hands-on instruction and support student learning outcomes.
Participate in and help coordinate a CTE Advisory Council to strengthen employer engagement and student opportunities.
Organize and oversee project-based learning, lab production activities, and real-world applications that build technical and problem-solving skills.
Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and safe operation of manufacturing equipment and tools, ensuring all lab resources are functional, compliant, and aligned with safety standards.
Support NBHS's mission through student recruitment, marketing, and community outreach events.
Attend required meetings, school functions, and professional development sessions.
Monitor adherence to all school policies and safety protocols.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time.
Perform other duties as assigned to support program success and school initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology, engineering, industrial technology, or a related field; or
Six (6) years of full-time industry experience in manufacturing, machining, mechanical design, or industrial production; or
Four (4) years of full-time industry experience combined with postsecondary education or technical training emphasizing applied mathematics, design, or production systems.
Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Florida Department of Education Temporary CTE Certificate in an appropriate manufacturing or engineering discipline.
Candidates without a bachelor's degree may qualify through verified industry experience and will have up to three (3) years to complete the requirements for a Professional Certificate, in accordance with FLDOE Rule 6A-4.004.
Ability to earn and maintain industry-recognized certifications, such as OSHA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAPE-funded credentials.
Successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting clearance as required by Florida law.

Working Conditions
Environment
This position involves work in both indoor and outdoor settings and may include classroom, lab, and community environments. The role requires regular sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and occasional climbing. Travel between school sites or to community and industry locations may be required.
Physical Requirements
While work is primarily performed in environmentally controlled conditions, the environment may fluctuate due to the operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery. The position requires the ability to sit for extended periods and to lift, carry, move, or position objects weighing up to 50 pounds as needed to support instruction, lab operations, and equipment setup. All instructional activities must comply with established safety procedures and NBHS's laboratory safety standards. Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred)
● Valid Florida Educator's Certificate in Business Education 6-12 (multiple certifications preferred)
● A minimum of 2 years secondary classroom experience (preferred)
● Bilingual/bi-literate (preferred)
● Basic knowledge of career education curriculum and programs
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Background check and fingerprinting clearance
● Evidence of ongoing professional development
● Knowledge of applicable computer software and hardware process applications such as spreadsheets, word-processing, database and operating systems, and/or presentation software

The Front Desk Receptionist position is key to customer satisfaction at New Beginnings High School. The position works closely with customers, potential customers, and employees and is often the first point of contact for the general public.
Key Responsibilities
Support NBHS by attending community service and outreach activities throughout the year.
Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Greet and assist all callers and walk-in visitors according to NBHS policies and procedures.
Conduct follow-up calls as directed.
Follow appropriate security and attendance protocols to check students, visitors, and volunteers in and out.
Distribute enrollment information packets to existing and prospective customers.
Manage and replenish front desk reception display materials.
Assist with cleaning and sanitizing all common areas and surfaces.
Ensure that all visitors are following NBHS safety guidelines.
Support all NBHS staff and customers in both face to face and virtual settings.
Assist with pre-screening customers, staff, and visitors.
Provide excellent customer service.
Track enrollment prospect data in contact database.
Input (initial) customer data into student information systems in an accurate and efficient manner.
Identify and report data issues/inconsistencies to management.
Participate in the Retention Check In (RCI) audits and any other state required audits.
Perform general office duties.
Prepare reports, correspondence, and presentations as requested by the immediate Supervisor or Principal.
