This position will primarily reside in the Provost's Office and support multiple Academic Affairs teams.
The Assistant Director of Administration reports to the Director of Administration within Academic Affairs and provides strategic administrative, operational, and financial oversight in support of Academic Affairs schools, departments, and designated centers. * Oversee and support departments with an annual budget planning process including forecasting, strategic spending, and multi-year financial planning across assigned Academic Affairs units.

General Job Description
Under the general supervision of the School Principal, plan and organize instruction in ways that maximize student learning; employ appropriate teaching and learning strategies to communicate subject matter to students including strategies to meet diverse student needs. The director, assistant directors, percussion instructor, and colorguard instructor will be responsible for designing, teaching and executing the show for the marching season. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of marching band instruction including drill writing, drill teaching, music arranging, marching instruction/techniques and percussion instruction.
Rehearsals will take place August 18st-August 21th 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and August 25th-August 28th 9am to 5pm. (Band Camp), beginning the 1st day of school in September culminating at the end of the football season in November (rehearsal schedule days and time to be determined by Director). Winter season will be January- April (rehearsal schedule days and time to be detemined by Director). Attendance at all football games as scheduled by the Athletic Director is mandatory. Additional spring rehearsals may be necessary to prepare for community events including parades. The band will be expected to perform a field show at all football games, pep rallies, community events and play-off games.
Essential Functions
Designs, writes and arranges shows appropriate to the instrumentation.
Work with consultants and volunteers to ensure that students receive exemplary instruction
Meet and communicate with consultants and volunteers to ensure that all parties are prepared to meet the needs of students
Perform at all designated school and community events
Prepare and rehearses students to perform a field show, as well as parade marching and pep activities
Conduct ongoing assessment of student growth and progress in marching band activities, and modifies instructional methods to fit individual student's needs, including students with special needs; conducts individual and small group instruction as needed.
Complete and create all necessary paperwork including field trip forms, permission slips and transportation forms.
Obtain quotes for all materials and music that are required for student success.
Create and maintain a performance and rehearsal calendar.
Provide copies of the performance and rehearsal calendar to students, parents and administrators well in advance of the season.
Continue to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the marching band field by attending seminars, participating in professional organizations, workshops or professional meetings, or by conducting research.
Maintain a system for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance as required by district procedures and applicable laws.
Encourage parental involvement in students' education and ensures effective communication with students and parents.

Position Overview:
The School of business seeks a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor to teach a variety of courses in the legal environment, to begin Fall 2026.
Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for effective teaching, research, service, and advising. Specific responsibilities will include teaching introductory, core, and advanced level courses in the legal environment of business to undergraduate students including, for example, employment law, contract law and other topics relevant to business. Responsibilities will also include service on department, school, and college-level committees, and advising undergraduate majors and pre-law students.
* The successful candidate must (a) demonstrate an ability to provide highly effective teaching, (b) be committed to conducting research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals or law review journals consistent with the standards of the AACSB, (c) advise and mentor students, and (d) engage in service to the college community. The School of Business particularly values student-centered and innovative teaching approaches and expects faculty to conduct active, engaged classrooms.
* Candidates should be committed to further enhancing our collegial environment among all students and faculty demonstrated through culturally responsive course design and pedagogy, equity-minded student engagement and mentorship, and the development of intercultural competencies needed for meaningful citizenship.

Required:
* Juris Doctorate or equivalent.
Preferred:
* Teaching experience in undergraduate, law school, professional or other settings.
