Work you'll do
As an operations specialist, you will serve as a key contributor to the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational projects and activities that keep our business running smoothly. Specifically, you will support the Business Operations team within the Marketing organization in a variety of operational activities including managing special projects, budgets, tracking employee/contractor utilization and costs, maintaining time and expense codes, building and managing centralized shared services, and implementing process and procedure improvements.
You will have the desire to learn the inner workings of the marketing organization; including the business marketing teams and the in-house agency (GDA-Green Dot Agency), which will help inform and influence your work. You need to be comfortable pivoting your focus and scope as priorities change across the organization.
You will liaise with professionals across the Marketing organization as well as other enabling departments such as Finance, Accounting, Technology, Risk, and Procurement to perform activities such as:
