The company was formerly known as AT&T Wireless Services, Inc. and changed its name New Cingular Wireless Services, Inc. in October 2004. The company was incorporated in 1982 and is based in Redmond, Washington. New Cingular Wireless Services, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of AT&T, Inc.
