The Professional Service Coding Manager is responsible for conducting documentation and coding assessments for professional services. This will include medical record assessments of the documentation and code assignment for: diagnoses, procedures and Evaluation and Management ("E/M") services performed by NEBH professional service providers including physicians and Non-Physician Practitioners ("NPPs"). The Manager will also work on special projects, individually or in collaboration with NEBH management, related to compliance, finance and/or operational initiatives that impact overall organizational reimbursement. In collaboration with billing vendor work all coding related denials .

This position requires the ability to perform accurate and complete ICD Diagnosis, CPT and HCPCS code assignment using American Medical Association (AMA) coding and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) guidelines and to complete audits and/or coding assessments using industry established coding guidelines, regulatory billing rules (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid), and third-party payer medical policy guidance, as applicable.

Essential Tasks / Responsibilities

The PACU nurse is responsible for the care of the post-operative patient It is the responsibility of the PACU nurse to ensure the patient is stable and meets all requirements to be safely discharged as well as accurately completing the admission and pre-operative documentation.
