Job Summary
The Mechanic is responsible for assisting with the repair, servicing, and maintenance of company-owned vehicles and equipment, including diesel trucks, lifts, trailers, and small engines. Essential Functions & Duties
Perform basic mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and servicing of company equipment as assigned.

Complete equipment check sheets and document work performed accurately.
Support inventory management by tracking shop supplies, parts, and tools.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.

Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn hydraulic, electrical, welding, and fabrication basics.

Responsibilities

Operate meat department equipment such as band saw, meat grinder, meat blender, cuber, auto wrapper, scale, and slicer.
Assist customers, process verbal orders (including weighing and pricing), and deliver
orders to customer from across the counter.
Must work quickly and carefully while cutting/stocking/wrapping items at a reasonable expectancy (R/E).
Visually identify product and PLU code; manually enter into the scale for pricing.
Handle various raw meat products to cut, prepare, wrap, price, and stock into meat cases.
Read display terminal and other documents when necessary.
Lift and load product weighing up to 60 lbs.
Retrieve product weighing up to 60 lbs. from the cooler to the prep room. Lif
t and load 5-40 lb trays/cases onto stock carts and push or pull cart to stocking area.
Take verbal orders over the telephone and write down pertinent information.
Interact and communicate with others in a courteous and professional manner including greeting and thanking customers.
Deal with some potentially difficult situations (such as dissatisfied customers).

The Meat Manager generally assigns the work.
Meat Cutter should review and get approval from his/her supervisor prior to performing
any work that was not previously assigned.
The Meat Manager generally prepares work schedules on a weekly basis.
RESPONSIBILITY AND DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
Meat Cutter is responsible to wait on the customer and provide good customer service
including suggestive selling.
Meat Cutters are not to leave their assignment without notifying the supervisor on duty.
Meat Cutters are responsible for knowing and understanding all Meat specific policies
and procedures.
Responsible for performing their work in a safe and ergonomically correct manner.
Any unsafe working conditions must be reported to the supervisor on duty immediately.

The Treasurer is responsible for all MSBA funds and investments, managing cash and investment activities, banking relationships, and cash flows in a fiscally prudent manner and in accordance with applicable state laws and MSBA policies. The Treasurer reports on MSBA cash and investment balances, debt, receipts and disbursement of funds and manages the MSBA's debt portfolio including overseeing the issuance of new debt and realizing debt savings by optimizing refunding opportunities.Essential Responsibilities
Financial Management and Analysis
Manage and administer the weekly processing of all MSBA financial obligations, which includes approximately $1 billion in grant payments to districts, annually.
Receive, record and report on monthly sales tax revenues.
Report on cash activities to ensure timely processing and recording in the accounting system.
Prepare, monitor, update, and report on grant payments and funding for the capital pipeline to assist with budgeting, borrowing schedules, and investments.
Prepare wire instructions for payroll and OPEB funding and other transfers as directed.
Implement, review, and update related internal control policies and procedures.
Perform periodic review of the MSBA's general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness and work with other finance staff to review and remedy variances.
Debt Management
Manage and report debt activities, including negotiating all borrowings, preparing necessary documents and notes, and reporting results to the Board. Responsible for compliance with all disclosure requirements.
Manage the MSBA's debt portfolio and ensure appropriate debt service coverage as required by bond indentures.
Monitor analysis of primary and secondary market activity of MSBA issued securities.
Maintain and update the debt portfolio and analyze and make recommendations for potential savings through refunding and defeasance opportunities.
Review and update the MSBA's Debt Management Policy.
Manage activity with the bond trustee required pursuant to the MSBA's trust agreement, including the monthly reconciliation of all dedicated revenue set asides, transfers and payments.

Maintain custody of the MSBA 's OPEB trust funds and invest in accordance with the OPEB Trust agreement. Prepare investment performance reports for the quarterly OPEB Trust Committee meetings.

Maintain and manage the MSBA 's financial documents, including contracts with investment advisors, financial advisors, and disclosure counsel. Prepare bid documents or renewal agreements upon expiration of such contracts.
Attend and present at MSBA Board meetings, special meetings, investor meetings, credit agency presentations and hearings as required.

Strong knowledge of government finance, public fund investment, and debt issuance.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience issuing municipal debt, including preparation of required documents and presentations.
Experience with debt management software, and accounting packages.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications, including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Expertise in Excel spreadsheet manipulation.
