A set schedule until the "plant director" has a bug up in the dark place and changes his mind.
Plant director and supervisor has their favorites. Does not treat everyone the same. Praises the ones who doesn't work good (calls out all the time, leaves early, slow at doing their job, can't keep up with production, etc.), makes the ones who know their job and does excellent at it feel belittled. The good employees feel that you have to kiss the Plant directors rear end just to be seen. The plant director stays in his office all day, does not ask listen to any employee on what's exactly going on in their area, does not care about your feedback on a specific job, he does not care if an employee has a sick parent/child and has to leave for the day. H re talks to employees ANY WAY HE WANTS AND ROLLS HIS EYES WHEN YOU TRY TO EXPLAIN WHAT IS GOING ON IN YOUR AREA. We are numbers and NOT people. He is very rude, disrespectful and veey unprofessional. It's his way (the hard, uneducated, zero experience, no common sense) or the high way. Then the company wonders why it has gone downhill the last 2 years and why the plant director was "let go" from his previous job. Most of us employees are scared to go to the 3 guys that are higher up than him because of the backlash that will come of it if the employee name gets to him. There is no room for advancement unless you throw everyone under the bus to the plant director. He has had 2 people who previously worked for him at other companies and they both quit to go to better jobs. When you work your butt off daily and ask for a pay raise, it's always "I'll look into it". When you ask 2 weeks later if he has looked into it, he says "not yet". Then starts someone right off the street making $1 less than you and you have been working there for a couple years. There are a couple employees who have worked here for many years are not appropriated. We do not get treated right! This place is supposed to be a drug free environment but the plant director let's failed drug tests slide of certain employees and new hires that know the certain employees.
Clocking out and going home!
There is nothing to like about anyone in the leadership at New Era Inc.
The plant director needs to go because he is running this company to the ground.
I had my interview when John Martelli and Jeff Price were in plant manager and plant supervisor. They made this company feel like it's family. That family feeling has since left in June 2023
It doesn't. For my job and my job experience, I should be making between $23-$28hr. I am not where near that
