    Jon Slangerup has over 38 years of executive leadership experience, including the past 27 years as a corporate director, president and/or CEO of both public and private companies, ranging from the Port of Long Beach to a billion-dollar subsidiary of FedEx Corporation. With domain expertise in supply chain and logistics, enterprise software, and clean energy technologies, Mr. Slangerup has focused his work on transforming companies into global market leaders. During his career, he has built businesses throughout North America, Europe and Asia, serving customers in more than 100 countries and managing more than a dozen corporate mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Slangerup’s career began in military and commercial aviation, leading to a distinguished 20-year career with FedEx where he advanced to become President of FedEx Canada. From FedEx, Mr. Slangerup was recruited to Silicon Valley as CEO of tech startup Electron Economy, a supply chain enterprise software company, before returning to Toronto as CEO of Stuart Energy, a leading TSX-listed cleantech company.For the past 16 years, Mr. Slangerup has worked in private equity as a corporate director, industrial advisor and operating executive, serving on boards and as CEO of several technology and logistics companies. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Executive Advisory Board of NexPhase Capital Partners and currently serves on the Board of Hawthorne Global Aviation Services. He previously served as Chairman and CEO of two previous NPC portfolio companies; Mxi Technologies and American Global Logistics. Slangerup also recently joined EQT Group as an industrial advisor and currently serves on the Board of Fenix Marine Services, an EQT portfolio company. Concurrent with his work in private equity, Mr. Slangerup previously served in a public service role as CEO of the Port of Long Beach, a primary U.S. gateway for trans-Pacific trade via ships, railroads, and trucks. In addition to his corporate work, Mr. Slangerup serves as a Trustee of his alma mater, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics and master’s in Business Administration.
