The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our Management Team as our Warehouse Manager. The Warehouse Manager oversees and coordinates physical and administrative duties in all levels of inventory control including shipping, receiving and receipting of all donations and maintains an accurate physical record of all inventory. Duties
• Maintain accurate inventory records and cycle counts
• Take responsibility for ensuring that all product donations and purchased foods are entered into the computer system and process receipts
• Ensure that stock and store salvage and boxed donations follow First in First Out (FIFO).
• Ensure proper procedures are followed for the receiving and unloading of trucks as well as prepare loads for shipping to member agencies, and use warehouse equipment in the process
• Provide supervision to warehouse staff, drivers, volunteers and community service workers
• Plan daily routes for food bank trucks and drivers
• Maintain Fleet of trucks to all safety and regulatory standards to include DOT compliance
• Admin for AE3 online ordering system and schedule CERES appointments
• Maintain safe driving record and licenses of all associates who drive trucks and utilize warehouse equipment
• Acquire a ServSafe Mangers Certification in Food Safety within first six months of employment at employer's expense
Requirements
• High School degree or equivalent experience and five years experience in a warehouse supervision environment
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse material handling equipment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to relate well to employees at all levels of NHFB, ability to build appropriate rapport, ability to build constructive and effective relationships
