This posting is for the Audrey Grace House Administrator who is responsible for overseeing a treatment team that understands the impact of trauma and provides kids and their families with solutions for positive outcomes and permanence. The Administrator is responsible for creating a sense of stability for kids by provided a home-like, nurturing environment. We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Administrator to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent care, along with proven leadership skills in a residential or therapeutic setting. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional care, fostering a safe and supportive environment, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Leadership & Team Management: Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team of direct care staff and therapists. Experience with staff training, performance evaluations, and creating a positive work culture.
Clinical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent development, trauma-informed care, and therapeutic interventions. Ability to oversee the creation and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations governing residential treatment centers, with the ability to ensure compliance with all legal and licensing requirements.
Operational Oversight: Excellent organizational skills to manage daily operations, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the facility.

Qualifications: Master's Degree preferred, not required. Be a Licensed Child-Care Administrator (LCCA) or eligible to become one. Qualifications Continued: Possess a minimum of five (5) years in residential child-care treatment with direct responsibility for supervision and development of direct child-care staff, with emphasis on the implementation of child-care programs and the management and coordination of direct care staff. Be able to work under the direct supervision of the Chief Operating Officer with a wide degree of discretion and independent judgment.
Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 per year*
*Based on experience, educational background and specialized skills.

Physical Requirements:

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing overnight direct supervision and support to a group of kids, many of whom are experiencing emotional trauma
Planning, supervising and assisting with nightly activities for your assigned group of children
Helping with household chores as needed
Getting children up and ready in the morning
Occasionally transporting children to school in company-provided vans
Providing a safe, stable and home-like environment
Building healthy relationships with the kids in care to support them as they heal and work through their trauma
Maintaining accurate and complete documentation
Completing and implementing necessary trainings as required by state licensing;
Studying, practicing and operating within the New Horizons' Philosophy and Employee Handbook
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
Applicants must pass criminal background checks, a drug screening, a tuberculosis test
Active Driver's License required
Applicants must have insight and understanding of cultural diversity and have the ability to work with diverse populations
Be able to perform conflict resolution or crisis intervention
Applicants must possess positive verbal and written communication skills, the ability to make logical decisions in times of crisis, and work well in a team and independently

We are looking for a Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our well-respected, residential treatment center for children, located in central Texas. Therapists are responsible for providing individualized group, family and individual therapy while maintaining a comfortable, safe environment and establishing an accepting, caring therapeutic cultural for kids and adolescents.
New Horizons Ranch is located in the Texas Hill Country, approximately 30 miles south of Brownwood, Texas or 8 miles west of Goldthwaite, Texas. This is an on-site position and employees must reside in or near the Brownwood or Goldthwaite area. Transportation financial assistance, if needed, provided within a 60 mile radius of New Horizons.
As a nationally accredited agency, we are committed to becoming one of the first Qualified Residential Treatment Programs (QRTPs) in Texas. Therapist Responsibilities Include:
Facilitating individually tailored therapy sessions with individuals, groups and families.
Communicating and working with the interdisciplinary team and direct care staff to ensure the therapeutic needs of the kids and adolescents in care are met and to determine the best practice for meeting those needs.
Collaborating to development individualized treatment plans.
Accurately completing and maintaining required documentation and case notes per New Horizons' policy and state issued Minimum Standards including treatment plan updates and progress notes.
Developing, conducting and monitoring appropriate therapeutic tasks, to assist each kid in accomplishing their treatment goals.
Following the New Horizons' Philosophy and Guidelines, Employee Handbook and Policy and Procedures.
Position Qualifications Include:
Applicants must possess a Master's degree in psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy or another qualifying social services field.
Applicants must be fully Licensed in the State of Texas in their respective fields. Accepted licensures: LPC, LMFT or LCSW. (We cannot accept Interns at this time)
Applicants must be Eligible for Medicaid Billing.
Applicants with a strong clinical background in trauma based therapeutic approaches (Trauma Informed Care and Trauma Resolution) are preferred.
Experience in Residential Treatment, Play Therapy and Animal Assisted Therapy with focus on Equine Assisted Therapy is a plus.

At New Horizons, we Keep Kids First while providing a safe, therapeutic and loving environment for kids and adolescents who have experienced immense trauma through abuse, neglect or exploitation. The Ranch sits on 150 acres and is home to 70 kids, ages 6-17.
The Ranch, has an on-campus accredited charter school, a certified equine therapy program, a swimming pool, playground, campus lakes, football and baseball fields, four homes and a chapel/activity center.
