New Horizons of SWFL is seeking to increase their Substitute positions. Do you enjoy flexibility to work and earn a little extra cash now and then? Do you enjoy working with students of all ages? If you answered yes to both of these questions, you may be interested in applying for our substitute position. This position is designed to help our tutoring, mentoring and faith building programs when regularly scheduled staff members are off. You could be called weeks in advanced for a planned vacation/illness or you may get a call the day of to see if you are available to cover a last minute illness. You have the flexibility to accept the shift or not depending on your plans at the time. If you enjoy tutoring students and have availability Monday - Thursday between 2 p.m .- 6 p.m., apply today for the Substitute position. If hired, you will be added to our sub pool for Directors to call when there is a need. We are located in partnering churches from Fort Myers to Naples, Florida. On call, as needed. No more than 20 hours in a given week.

Provides 15 passenger van/bus transportation for New Horizons' students from their schools to any one of the New Horizons' sites (in Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and Fort Myers), and/or to events, and returning the students to their homes from the sites/events. Mostly Monday - Thursday 1 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. May have a shift on Fridays. August - May Up to 24 hours/week, August - May. May be able to work the month of June

What You'll Do: Provide tutoring for middle and high school students (grades 6-12) Encourage students academically, spiritually, and emotionally Foster a positive, respectful, and fun learning environment Work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers Qualifications: Enjoys working with teens Patient, dependable, and positive attitude Strong grasp of middle and high school subjects (English Language Arts, math, science, social studies, etc.) High School Diploma plus some college with knowledge of algebra 1 & 2, and geometry Previous experience working with teens required Position Details: Part-time: 20 hours per week Afternoon Hours: 1:15 p.m - 6:15 pm. New Horizons of SWFL is currently seeking a CDL driver to provide bus transportation for New Horizons' students from their schools to any one of the New Horizons' sites (in Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero and Fort Myers), and/or to events, and returning the students to their homes from the sites/events. Monday - Thursday 1 p.m. - 7 p.m. Occasional Fridays and weekends.
