One of the only pros were the benefits. However, when using the benefits provided, upon returning to work they immediately change the benefits structure. So that’s a con now.
They have a safety team, but its sole purpose is to conduct safety audits internally. Neither OSHA nor the DOL have seen the working conditions of the manufacturing floor. When confronted by OSHA, the simply say that the processes on the floor are secret and they can’t allow them on and instead give them the internal safety audits done by untrained bottom-tiered employees trying to keep their jobs. Just like Boeing.
Management has absolutely zero respect for the people putting in the labor. That’s probably my favorite part. Once they hate you, they hate you forever and they show it.
Never met the CEO. All I know is he made about half a million dollars every hour, in profit.
Maybe by not harassing your employees after using benefits they were entitled to in the NHF Employee Handbook, paired with immediately revising the Handbook and redacting the benefits used? That’s a start.
Wearing my best work-attire outfit, and providing a resume modeled for the position.
It was low. But “competitive”
I don’t know what this question is asking, but most of the positions of leadership and power are not diverse.
When I went into work knowing exactly where I’d be for the day, but that only happened for about a week. After that, I was asked to come in, “look busy” until the shift manager on duty was done in his morning office meetings to find me something irrelevant and seemingly difficult to do on my own with no guidance or training. It was only when I begged to learn something that would give me necessary relevant skills they’d teach me something, but that would last about a day before going back to “let’s have you count the inventory by hand” even though I applied for and was hired for a machinist position.
