Responsible for the gathering, assessment, cleaning, aggregating and analysis of data from a wide range of stakeholder groups across the university to ensure Kean University is fulfilling its mission and meeting its strategic goals. This is a highly collaborative position that works closely with a diverse team of administrators, faculty, staff and students to enhance institutional effectiveness through data democratization. As such, this position communicates and collaborates across the institution to develop best practices for data analysis and visualization in accordance with the University's policies and procedures. Build interactive, dynamic, and effective data visualizations and data dashboards to drive actionable insights and democratize data across the university community. Partner with various departments, including but not limited to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, the Nancy Thompson Learning Commons, and the Division of General Education and Interdisciplinary Studies, to help address their strategic and tactical business needs on appropriate data management, data structure, data quality, and utilize best practices on reporting requirements, and business process analysis. Collaborate with the Institutional Research (IR) team to develop and maintain reporting systems, data validations, and data models using business intelligence (BI) tools and Database Management System (DBMS). Generate ad hoc reports and run queries on research data, students, and other university related data from platforms such as Ellucian Colleague, Advise CRM, and Informer on a regular basis for internal reporting purposes. Develop a platform and business intelligence (BI) insights to optimize the processes by which research and sponsored programs data is gathered, validated, and reported in a standard format required for the annual NSF HERD Survey in support of R2 designation. Serve as a lead and a central hub of data requests from a wide range of client groups across the university and support the collection, analysis, and delivery of data via a cloud-based project management platform. Maintain the Enrolled but Not Registered (ENR) user dashboard, which updates daily, to provide data on student registration patterns to university stakeholders in support of campus-wide retention initiatives. Design, develop, implement, and maintain strategic competency-based education related metrics and reports and assist in decision making at all levels and in all areas of the university, including presenting to senior leadership. Manage and update the Exit Survey Report and associated dashboard, which is shared with the department chairs and college deans in coordination with the Office of Accreditation and Assessment. EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS:
Position requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Information Management, Information Systems, Data Analytics or a related field. 2 years of post-bachelor's experience analyzing data in an institution of higher education, in education or a field that is directly related to data collection, analysis and reporting; 2 years of experience must include the following: Microsoft Excel: Experience with advanced MS Excel functions: conditional formatting, advanced charting, data validation, pivot tables, and data modeling. Microsoft Access: Knowledge of creating data models and writing queries on MS Access to store, organize, and retrieve data. Under the supervision of the Director of the Child Care and Development Center, the Preschool Collaboration Teacher is responsible for the general supervision and management of fifteen three-year-old children with the assistance of one full-time teacher assistant. The Teacher plans and implements a program of developmentally appropriate experiences for children, demonstrating best early childhood practices. They supervise assistants and student teachers, communicate with parents, attend professional development events to maintain professional competency and perform related work as required. This is a ten-month position effective September 1st to June 30th annually. This position is based at the Kean Child Care and Development Center located on Kean's Union campus. Funding for this position is provided by the Township of Union Public Schools Preschool Program. Continuation of employment is contingent upon this funding source.
Qualifications: Possession of a valid New Jersey Teacher's Certificate of Pre-School through 3rd Grade (Standard, Provisional Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing or Certificate of Eligibility) or Permanent Endorsement, issued by the Board of Examiners of the New Jersey Department of Education is required.
In addition to undergoing a pre-employment physical and successfully completing background screening checks, this position also has physical requirements. The Department of Civil, Environmental, and Ocean Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the iSMART (Intelligent Systems for Monitoring and Assessment of Riverine and Terrestrial Environments) Lab.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in cold regions hydrology, with an emphasis on river ice processes and hydrodynamic modeling in northern U.S. watersheds. The successful candidate will engage in interdisciplinary work involving remote sensing, hydraulic modeling, and environmental forecasting to better understand and predict ice-related river dynamics and flooding. The postdoctoral researcher will also play a key role in collaborative proposal development, scientific publishing, and mentoring graduate students within the lab.
Advance research in the field of cold regions hydrology with a focus on US northern watersheds.
Advance the use of optical and radar remote sensing data to enhance monitoring and analysis of river ice conditions.
Implement and assess forecasting models for water temperature in river systems
Calibrate and validate hydraulic models to simulate ice jam processes and their influence on ice-induced flooding.
Assist in writing research proposals and publishing findings in collaboration with other iSMART lab members.
Contribute to the supervision and mentorship of Master's and PhD students within the iSMART lab.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydrology, Remote Sensing, or a related field.
Experience with remote sensing techniques and satellite data (optical and radar).
Demonstrated publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative research team.

Compensation Range
In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act, the semi-monthly base range for this position is $2,500 - $2,500. This range represents the University's good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the position's scope and responsibilities, the candidate's experience, education, skills, internal equity, market data, and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget, qualifications, and relevant credentials. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation, such as incentives, stipends, or other applicable pay components. Operating Engineer I
Under the supervision of the Engineer-in Charge, Chief Operating Engineer and/or Facilities Management, responsibilities include the maintenance and operation of various steam plant systems throughout the University campus, including high pressure steam boilers, low pressure steam boilers and related auxiliary equipment; and performing related work as required.
Operating Engineers may be exposed to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Essential job functions include the ability to walk long distances both indoors and outside; standing for long periods; the ability to climb stairs, bend and stoop; lifting, pushing or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds; and driving.
The employee will be required to pass a four (4) month Working Test Period to become eligible for a regular appointment. This position requires a flexible schedule.
Qualifications: An appropriate Operating Engineer's license (Blue Seal minimum) of the appropriate grade, issued by the New Jersey Department of Labor; driver's license valid in the State of New Jersey; and two (2) years of experience in work involving the operation and repair of heating plants and auxiliary equipment is required. Candidate must have knowledge of the various types of boilers, engines, motors, and auxiliary equipment used in power and heating plants and the methods of proper use, care, adjustments and maintenance. Strong electrical and plumbing skills preferred.

Faculty Opportunities for Academic Year 2026-2027
Kean faculty members are recognized for teaching distinction, scholarship and service. We are excited to grow our faculty and invite applications for academic year 2026-2027. This position is a twelve-month, full-time, clinical tenure-track assignment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, effective September 1, 2026.
All tenure-track faculty are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and an on-going program of research and publication or creative and performance activity. Participation in curriculum development, student advisement and service at the departmental, college, university and community level is required. Proficiency in a Learning Management System is also required, consistent with University guidelines.
Employment at Kean requires working at any of our New Jersey campus locations or affiliated work sites, which may include, but not be limited to: the main campus in Union; Kean Ocean in Toms River; Kean Skylands in Jefferson Township; Kean Jersey City; Kean at Brookdale in Middletown Township; Manahawkin; Princeton; and Trenton. Department of Physical Therapy, College of Health Professions and Human Services
Physical Therapy - 12 month clinical tenure-track faculty member to perform academic and assessment support with teaching in content areas including, but not limited to: foundational sciences, the musculoskeletal system, the cardiopulmonary system, the neurological system, clinical education and practice management, ethics/interprofessional/psychosocial, research, modalities, and/or pediatrics. Candidates with expertise in specialty areas of physical therapist practice will be considered. Faculty must have the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in team-taught courses.
Qualifications - Doctorate degree in a health-related field, a minimum of two years of teaching experience in an accredited physical therapy education program and a minimum of three years of experience in physical therapist clinical practice is required. Candidates must be licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of New Jersey or be license-eligible in the State of New Jersey. ABPTS certification and experience in inpatient or post-acute care management across the continuum of care for patients with complex medical conditions is preferred.
Candidates must have an established and active independent research record that supports publication in peer reviewed journals or publication venues appropriate for the discipline and a strong agenda for future research. ABD candidates will be considered with degree completion by September 1, 2026.
