Position Standards:

Performs individual specific personal care as required, including but not limited to assistance with toileting, transferring, changing needs, handwashing and oral care. Documents any finding on appropriate forms including but not limited skin integrity, bowel and repositioning charts.
Ensures active engagement and appropriate communication with staff and individuals.
Assumes responsibility for medication administration and appropriate documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Develops a trusting and friendly rapport with individuals served while maintaining professional boundaries.
Fulfills mandated reporter role by interrupting and reporting suspected abuse to administration immediately.
Ensures that the center is kept safe, clean and decorated in an age appropriate and comfortable manner and that is kept in good repair inside and out.
Demonstrates proficiency in all goals and skillsets outlined in the NYS DSP Core Competencies, on which performance will be evaluated.
Responsible for providing transportation to individuals receiving services driving agency vehicles with a capacity up to 14 passengers.
Ensures all required trainings and certifications are current, and seeks further support and training where needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage a crew of one to three to accomplish grounds maintenance responsibilities including: mowing, fencing, landscaping and road maintenance.
Collaborate with department managers on special projects, and during peak “pick-your-own” weekends

Timely service and record-keeping for all machines
Lead safety training for new hires on tractors, equipment and forklifts.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping (no prior conservation support experience necessary)

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Food Science, or Business Administration preferred.
Minimum 2-3 years of production/operational experience in a food manufacturing, CPG, or high-volume production environment.
Prior experience with people scheduling, rostering, or workforce planning.
Demonstrated experience in a leadership or "lead" capacity (e.g., Team Lead, Shift Supervisor).
Proficiency with digital scheduling platforms (e.g., Paylocity, UKG, ADP) is essential.

The Dutchess Community College Association Office of Residence Life and Housing is seeking a responsible, dynamic, and self-motivated individual for the position of Residence Coordinator (RC). The RC provides leadership for the Academic Housing program, supervision of student staff members, serves in the on-call rotation, and facilitates student health, safety and success for 475 residents. The RC is a 12-month live-in position that reports to the Director of Academic Housing.
The responsibilities of the Resident Hall Coordinator are:
* Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, advise, and mentor assigned student staff (Resident Assistants, Front Desk Assistants, and Student Assistants).
* Conduct individual employee and group employee meetings as needed.
* Participate in the professional staff on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Provide interventions and support students through emergency situations, mental health and medical incidents, roommate conflicts, and conduct concerns.
* Develop, implement, and provide oversight for residence hall programming.
* Provide oversight for allocated budget.
* Develop and implement hall and floor meetings to inform residents, to address resident's concerns, and to create solutions to improve student success and retention.
* Provide guidance and coach students, both individually and in groups, concerning academic, social, and personal problems.
* Serve as a liaison with campus partners, including, but not limited to: Housekeeping, Maintenance, Campus Safety and Security, Health Services, and Counseling Services.

Position Summary
The Office Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the effective administration and operational success of the Office of Community-Engaged Learning (OCEL). This role reports to the Director of Community-Engaged Learning, Teaching and Scholarship and works closely with the OCEL staff. The Office Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the OCEL, supports departmental administrative and financial systems, maintains the Officeʼs registration process and record keeping, supervises OCEL student workers, and arranges transportation for Community-Engaged Learning and the Vassar Education Collaboration (VEC). This role serves as a key liaison between the OCEL and students, faculty, administrators, community partners, and campus offices to facilitate high-impact community engagement experiences. This is an in-person, full time, CWA Union position for the Full Year.
Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day operations of the OCEL and VEC programs, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow across all program and administrative activities.
Supports the budget operations of the office/department: reconcile reports and corporate cards; make vendor payments; process invoices; process journal entries; ensure expenses are charged to appropriate budget accounts and remain within department allocations; provide notice if out of alignment.
Creates processes, monitors workflows, and ensures accuracy of products created by automated department systems (i.e., Zapier).
Support the OCELʼs management of the Good Neighbors Partnership Grant, through collaboration with community partners, tracking grant deliverables and deadlines, assisting with reporting requirements, and disbursing funds to grantees.
Specialized office support or operational duties based on the needs of the department- maintain accurate record-keeping systems for CEL registration, agreement forms, evaluations, compliance tracking, transportation requests and calendar to ensure compliance with college policies and safety protocols.
Perform basic troubleshooting tasks for systems and programs used within the department.
Responsible for supervision of student employees including posting of position, hiring, training, task assignments, providing feedback, and timesheet approvals.
Support the OCELʼs transportation systems, including, scheduling vehicles, supporting with route planning, and communication with Safety & Security and off-campus partners.
Support in the organization of events including scheduling, room reservations, completing tasks identified by an event plan, use templates to make name tags, event programs or other event collateral, communicate with vendors and participants, and order food or supplies.
Support communication of large scale events by running reports to create invitation lists, setting up data merges for individualized invitations (mail merges), tracking responses, following up with attendees for missing information, and communicating the collected information to the appropriate event collaborators.
Communicate in multiple modes with department members, vendors, on-campus offices, alumnae/i, volunteers, and/or other off-campus partners to complete departmental tasks.
