About the role: We are looking for a Partnerships Assignment Manager, based in NYC, to lead Magnum’s commercial assignments across the Americas, working closely with the Partnerships team (Assignments + Licensing) and relevant photographers across the agency. This sales-focused role would not only own the Commercial development but also work closely with other teams in cultural, education and digital partnerships, as needed to move projects development and delivery forward.

What you will do


Business development
Create strategies for developing new and existing clients and exploring new markets, working closely with the Partnerships team and management. Identify, manage and convert existing and new opportunities with a focus on USA, Canada and South America (agencies, brands, NGOs) Work closely with the other departments on maximizing our offer and benefit from cultural and educational events to increase our presence and visibility to partners in these countries/cities Develop and lead pitches as well as manage incoming assignments requests Work towards an annual sustainable and reachable budget target


Project management
Act as the Partnerships department point of contact for project management for both clients and photographers Build remarkable relationships with photographers to understand their personal work to be able to represent it persuasively to clients and partners Lead on the development of budgets and the negotiation of contracts, and terms with client to ensure fair pricing and greatest protection of copyrights For more complex assignments and group projects, provide producers with an efficient brief whilst retaining responsibility for the overall client and photographer experience Own the Partnerships marketing tools Coordinate with digital team to get new/relevant content up on Magnum Photos' social channels Lead regional marketing activities to our B2B content communities, including mail-outs, newsletters, updates
