Lisa joined New Reach in July 2020 as Chief Operating Officer. She comes to New Reach with a background in human capital management, marketing and brand management, talent optimization, strategic planning, financial management, and revenue generation. In her role, she is focused on further stabilizing New Reach’s operations by creating efficiencies, nurturing a culture of growth and collaboration, and optimizing and centralizing processes. Lisa came to New Reach after a 20-year tenure at Nutmeg State Financial Credit Union, where she led the organization through many mergers, new business ventures, award-winning marketing and brand development and revenue and asset growth. Lisa earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Business Administration from Post University.

Nicole Barnofski

Chief Program Officer

Nikki Barnofski, LMSW and Chief Program Officer, began her social work career in homelessness prevention and Rapid Rehousing as a housing coordinator. She has worked at New Reach for more than 11 years, over nine of which have been in management positions. Nikki earned her Bachelor of Science from Southern Connecticut State University and completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) with a concentration at the University of Connecticut. Nikki participates in numerous community coalitions and networks including but not limited to both ODFC’s Executive Committee and Coordinating Council, the Greater New Haven Coordinated Access Network leadership meetings, and many others.
