•Review IFC/IFB plans, one-line diagrams, site plans, and spec books for substation scopes tied to solar projects
•Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for:
•Foundations, slabs, and structural steel
•Grounding grids, duct banks, conduit, and cable
•Control buildings, equipment pads, fencing, and access roads
•Build complete cost estimates including labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and general conditions
•Request, track, and level vendor and subcontractor quotes (transformers, breakers, relays, steel, control building, etc.)
•Identify clarifications, exclusions, and risks, and draft RFIs during the bid phase
•Work with field operations to confirm production rates, means & methods, and constructability

Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency.

Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
Enforcing the laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping to and from the United States.
Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments for violations of laws and threats to national security.
Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity for the purposes of gaining information from suspected violators of laws to determine the appropriate course of action.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Ability to make rapid, accurate judgments and decisions with respect to the application of the regulations, instructions, and procedures for importing and exporting merchandise to and from the United States; or enforcement and administration of laws relating to the right of persons to enter, reside in or depart from the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Education Substitution: A master's (or higher) degree, or two or more years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited college or university; OR

Anderson Columbia Co., Inc. is hiring a Groundsman at our Asphalt Pant in Conroe.
Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, possible weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed
Must be able to read equipment operating manual
Must be able to complete pre-shift inspection report
Must be able to read and interpret gauges
Must be able to wear all required safety equipment
Must be able to communicate over CB radio or with hand signals and warning sounds, with coworkers regarding movement of vehicles and mobile equipment
Must be service oriented with proven ability to work in a TEAM environment
Must be able to follow instructions as well as make some independent decisions
Must be able to perform duties in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
This job requires the ability to wear a hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes

Must be able to use tools such as brooms/mops, shovels, weed eater, wheelbarrow and similar to perform duties
Must be able to stoop, bend and lift 100 lbs from ground to waist level on a repetitive basis

Responsibilities
The laborer/helper will assist with production, perform general labor tasks, maintain plant housekeeping, assist with routine maintenance on plant and equipment and provide assistance in all areas of the plant as needed
Schedules may change from time-to-time, depending on business needs
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
These duties include primarily shoveling spillage areas, also to include lubricating machinery, monitor the plant, heavy ground maintenance, and inspect plant daily
Maintains yard and equipment
Cleans conveyor belt areas and performs minor preventive maintenance and replaces worn/damaged components as needed
Assists with other maintenance as needed
Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies, MSHA, TCEQ and other regulators
Assist with operation of other equipment
Adhere to MSHA and plant safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations
Perform duties with minimum supervision
Performs other duties as assigned
Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles, team player with strong interpersonal skills, dedicated and hard working.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test/heavy demand physical.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Under the direction of Laboratory Management, the Sample Management Technician supports accurate and efficient tracking, processing, and routing of samples using LIMS and established SOPs, in adherence to ISO 17025, NELAP/TNI, GMP/GLP, and all accrediting/certifying agency requirements. Other Duties include:
Independently receive, review, and log samples (Environmental, Food, USP, and Colilert-18) from couriers and delivery agencies.
Verify accompanying documentation; contact clients or laboratory personnel to clarify missing or unclear information.
Appropriately label samples and create required data packages. Ensure samples are properly tracked, documented, handled, stored, and delivered to the appropriate departments promptly.
Maintain accurate laboratory records and data in compliance with policies, LIMS protocols, and accreditation standards.
Assist quarterly with Colilert-18 sample receipt, including a minimum of two Saturdays per month as required.
Utilize LIMS for sample tracking, processing, documentation, and result entry.
Assist in data entry for laboratory results and scan sample submission forms to Accounting as needed.
Follow all Receiving SOPs and Adhere to GMP/GLP, ISO 17025, NELAP/TNI, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Support audit readiness and ensure data integrity in all sample management activities.
Assist Courier staff with scheduling client bookings into routing software and assist Media Technicians, Laboratory Assistants, and other laboratory areas as assigned.
Perform general laboratory maintenance and upkeep; Support supply stocking, paperwork management, and inventory management, & Notify QA and QC upon arrival of Proficiency Testing (PT) samples
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely, without restriction or sponsorship and hold a high-school diploma or equivalent.
Other items include:
Basic computer skills, including data entry and communication via email and phone.
Experience with Excel, Word, Adobe
Ability to follow SOPs, regulatory standards, and documentation requirements.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling samples and data.
Ability to work both independently and within a team; strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Fine motor skills required for handling samples and performing related tasks.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs; Strong attention to detail for precise laboratory work.
POSITION AND SCHEDULE
This is a Full-Time M-F, 8:00AM -5:00PM, Onsite position at Nova Biologicals in Conroe, TX. Occasional Weekends and OT Eligible.
