Students learn these holistic techniques through numerous hands-on activities at the school's clinics. Located in Syosset on Long Island, New York College of Health Professions is conveniently located for area students. The school has three additional campuses throughout New York City. Academics include degrees in: * Acupuncture * Holistic Nursing * Massage * Oriental Medicine New York College of Health Professions also offers specialized certifications in Yoga and Tai Chi instruction and in the Science of Self Improvement. The school also operates several clinics, including a Community Health Care Clinic and a Teaching Clinic, where students offer acupuncture, Asian bodywork massage, herbal medicine and other services. In addition, they operate the world-renowned Integrative Health Center, which, like all the clinics, offers low-cost holistic medical care. The school accepts applications at several times throughout the year. Application requirements include an admissions application, transcripts or evidence of a GED and an interview with an admissions advisor.
