Your role and responsibilities

* Ensures all on-site resources are properly trained on company health, safety and environment policy and proactively promotes health and safety considerations to project partners throughout the project.
* Empowered to suspend any activities on site (be it by ABB personnel or by subcontractors) in case of HSE violation and, if a situation arises, takes the necessary steps to ensure that ABB employees and other persons who may be present are not put at risk.
* Ensures correct handling, storage and installation of ABB-delivered equipment, coordinating on-site storage as well as shipment logistics to secure timely site delivery of equipment and material.
* Manages the sub-contractors on site hired by ABB to ensure necessary quality and progress achieved to meet delivery date and agreed standards.
* Controls project cost for the project site work, monitors actual spend against forecasts, and estimates final cost for the same. Manages the petty cash and has delegated authority for local purchasing within agreed limits.
* Ensures all documentation is modified and updated as necessary, the document handling system is maintained, and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.
* Ensures (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
* Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect reports within HR policies. Coordinates local accommodation, site facilities, office equipment, etc.
Qualifications for the role
* BS Engineering, BS Management required.
* 5+ Years Field service project experience with an electrical OEM, experience leading long term field assignments, and field quality assurance delivery focusing on procedures and implementation.
* Ability to travel 80-100% of the time within North America and ability to be away from home for extended periods.
* Strong understanding of site commissioning and oversight of engineered solutions including IEC61850 projects.
* Ability to develop and implement test, start-up, and commissioning plans with third party Cx agents.
* Experience leading start-up teams responsible for ABB and GE LV and MV electrical equipment, relays, and PRN networks preferred.
* Experience leading multidisciplinary site teams of electrical field engineers and technicians as well as third party contractors preferred.

Operating the power plant includes operating a combined cycle power generation plant as Operating Technician in field operations, unit shutdowns and startups and getting qualified operating the plant from the Control Room. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining all plant components including gas and steam turbine, heat recovery steam generators, environmental control, steam & water quality, cooling tower, boiler feed, condensate, circulating water and fuel systems. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation equipment and mechanical/electrical systems. Responsibilities also include operating and maintaining the plant in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to Title V Air permit, SPDES and other environmental permits. This position requires working a rotating 12-hour shift. The responsibilities of this position include being able to operate the control board.

Responsibilities
* Safely operate the company airplane in accordance with approved operating procedures and current FAA regulations. As Pilot Flying (PF)-in-Command, maintain in-flight control of aircraft; monitor aircraft condition and performance, review limitations and operational concerns, monitor fuel requirements, necessity and condition of alternate airports, and determine operational implications of malfunctions, altering flight operations as necessary.
* Assist and/or conduct flight planning, evaluate and monitor weather, maintain aircraft readiness, and oversee routine aircraft servicing.
* Maintain and verify aircraft and pilot flight records using PFM software. Assist department personnel with reports and scheduling as required.
* Maintain contact with Chief Pilot and Travel Desk to update schedule changes and passengers' needs. Process/edit all requests, as necessary, ensuring that correct data is entered in the PFM system.
* Assist with passenger scheduling
* Verify appropriate aircraft navigational databases, charts, and aircraft and FAA publications as required. Familiar with Company Aircraft Policy and Procedures manual.

Under general supervision, performs all types of mechanical, civil, and structural construction, maintenance and repair work on project features, including reservoir, concrete dams, powerhouse, appurtenant structures and buildings, with marine equipment and all fixed or movable machinery and other equipment. The work will require one or more skills such as mechanic, machinist, welder, ironworker, blacksmith, millwright, carpenter, crane operator, rigger, plumber, pipefitter, sheet metal worker, mason, painter and auto mechanic.
