This challenging position has overall responsibility for performing maintenance and repairs, and preventative maintenance, to all areas of the hotel. You will perform maintenance and repair work on the interior and exterior of buildings, hotel rooms and contents, laundry and kitchen/refrigeration equipment, lighting, heating/air conditioning, ventilation, and water treatment systems, and swimming pool - if applicable etc. and ensure that equipment is prepared and operational for the following day's work. This position carries significant responsibilities including the duties of maintaining safety and comfort for the building's occupants. This requires the commitment, skill and professional demeanor of a dedicated self-starter and a team player. The nature of this position regularly requires emergency response after hours. May independently research as need arises and respond to emergent issues. Assists in gathering information to respond to RFI's and review of change orders in the preparation of construction documents. Perform job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Site visits frequently require a physical walk-through of site. May direct activities of staff with less experience. Perform other duties as assigned. HERE'S WHAT YOU WILL NEED Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering required. Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program preferred. Minimum of 4 years of related experience required. EIT/FE in the United States preferred. LEED accreditation preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to effectively handle multiple projects. Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit, Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus) required. The salary range for this position is $67,346.00 - $79,230 annually. As a Field Technician, you will be representing DISH in customers' homes daily. Skills, Experience and Requirements All technicians must have: Aptitude to build rapport quickly.
