The Director, US Manufacturing will oversee and optimize operational activities to ensure efficiency, quality and alignment with the strategic goals for our Warrington and Southampton, PA locations. This role will focus on component production in a clean room environment. Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, this role is responsible for team leadership, process optimization and production management. Must have experience leading production under cGMP, ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 standards. The Director will drive operational excellence, maintain facilities and equipment, and leverage a deep understanding of plastic and silicone extrusion, along with plastic and silicone injection molding processes to achieve production goals while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Operators will develop the ability to measure silicone tubing and hose. This includes the I.D., the O.D., and the wall thickness.
They should properly measure using rulers, tape measures, dial calipers, wall thickness and pin gages. A silicone operator must also use ultrasonic thickness gages for wall thickness measurements.
The operator must have the physical ability to mix 50-60 lbs. of silicone rubber on a two-roll cabinet mill.
An operator must be comfortable on ladders in order to string the line at start up.
Operator must use FIFO when using raw material for extrusion. They must record accurate lot information and follow company rules on documentation.
Daily teamwork and collaboration with other departments is expected.
Daily housekeeping and logging of Cleanroom activities is a required.
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work 12-hour shifts

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse & Distribution Center Supervisor is a key member of the warehouse operations team and is responsible for driving associate engagement, productivity, quality, accuracy, and safety in a specific area (inbound return orders, order picking, order sorting, or outbound/shipping) by providing leadership and day to day direction to a team of numerous hourly associates. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supervise associates to pick merchandise and consolidate orders, pack orders, or ship packages direct to consumers and retail customers.
* Supervise secondary production functions associated with their currently assigned department, such as returns, return to vendor processes, make ready/audit functions, etc.
* Implement optimal staffing mix during assigned shift for applicable department(s) in partnership with management the production/wave planning office.
* Monitor Warehouse lines to ensure goods flow properly within the facility; communicate best practices for conveying goods to associates within department(s) of responsibility as well as upstream and downstream departments.
* Maintain accurate records of processed merchandise, packages and shipments, gift packaging, tracking numbers, etc. as well as associate productivity. Prepare daily reports of these metrics for the management team and provide appropriate feedback to associates to support accountability and recognition.
* Maintain high quality and productivity standards in assigned department(s) by providing continuous direction, training, and motivation to hourly associates (Extensive time spent on warehouse floor, this is not a desk job.).
* Coach and develop Warehouse leads in the day to day motivation and support of hourly order processors.
* Ensure on-time order processing and Warehouse, keeping service level promises to our customers is critical.
* Present problem analysis of operational issues to the inbound/outbound manager on duty (such as dips in productivity) and recommend solutions in a creative and logical manner.
* Be solution oriented and routinely make recommendations for continuous improvement within the site.
* Exercise the autonomy to make operational decisions on the fly to keep the building plans on track and support the business.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
* High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business is preferred (or equivalent level of industry experience).
* 3 years of previous distribution experience with at least 2 + years of a supervisory experience is preferred.
* Experience with SAP and labor management tools are positive.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Warehouse & Distribution Center Supervisor is a key member of the warehouse operations team and is responsible for driving associate engagement, productivity, quality, accuracy, and safety in a specific area (inbound return orders, order picking, order sorting, or outbound/shipping) by providing leadership and day to day direction to a team of numerous hourly associates. The Warehouse & DC Supervisor is also responsible for close collaboration with peers in other departments to ensure all decisions/outcomes align with the overall site goals and objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supervise associates to pick merchandise and consolidate orders, pack orders, or ship packages direct to consumers and retail customers.

* Implement optimal staffing mix during assigned shift for applicable department(s) in partnership with management the production/wave planning office.

Develop and document work instructions and train appropriate team members
Participate and support continuous improvement initiatives (Six Sigma & Lean manufacturing, Product Structure and Routing Improvements)
Evaluate product designs for manufacturability
Participate in defective product investigations, using RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and implement corrective and preventative actions
Design work cells, equipment layouts, and material and people flow for maximum efficiency

+ Implements Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma processes to support efforts for inventory reduction, process reliability, and manufacturing cycle time improvement.
+ Proactively participates with suppliers on Research and Development of required product specifications and evaluates in-coming material according to agreed upon standards.
+ Applies project management skills in the justification, capital request, procurement, and installation of capital equipment, machinery modifications, and production process improvements.
+ Approximates production time, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide accurate/timely estimates for management decisions.
+ Applies statistical methods to evaluate manufacturing capabilities and future potential.
