Is responsible for assuring that equipment is all labs is maintained and that equipment with predictable obselence is replaced in a timely manner and for new technology assessment; participates in recommendations for capital improvements and investments. Participates in the design of new laboratories both on campus and at out reach offices. Assures that laboratory certification, when available, is obtained and maintained through appropriate national agencies. Works with IT to ensure that data quality and access are maintained. Experience in cardiac ultrasound diagnostic in children with complex congenital heart disease, exercise physiology and Holter studies preferred.
