The Stylist is responsible for engaging with guests, consulting with them on their hair care needs and recommending products and services. Manage office operations including customer support, phone coverage, production supplies ordering, physical plant work orders, office supply inventory and ordering, large-format supply orders and mail distribution. Greet and direct visitors as needed.
Support the Creative and Print Director and Assistant Director of Operations in all aspects of daily operations.
Complete timesheet recap sheets of student worker (if applicable) and support staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge and Skills
3 years of experience in office setting, bookkeeping, customer service, proofreading, or a combination required. A higher education degree may be considered in lieu of the 3 years' experience.
Demonstrated proofreading or copy-editing experience.
Proficiency in PC or Mac platform, word processing, spreadsheet and database software.
Strong interpersonal communications skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to gather and communicate information to ensure jobs are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Strong organizational and time management skills with a high attention to detail.
Ability to work under tight time constraints on multiple projects and with a diverse group of individuals.
Must be self motivated and able to function independently with little supervision.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
Printing background preferred.
Experience with a job management software system and Banner Financial Reporting System or similar applications.
Regular Work Hours/Travel Requirements
Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Occasional overtime may be required to meet department or project deadlines.
Occasional travel may be required.
