SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Administration Apprentice within the Percy Hedley Foundation, working within our finance function. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and willing to learn, with good attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.
As a member of a small team, you will be expected to undertake a wide range of procurement administrative activities as you grow in the role, including maintenance of paper and electronic filing systems, note-taking, photocopying/scanning, meeting scheduling, and other general administrative duties.
You will be regularly supervised and supported to complete your level 4 apprenticeship qualification. You will will spend 20% of your time undertaking a special programme of training offered by our training partner.
Essential qualifications:
Minimum of two A-Levels (or equivalent). Equivalent qualifications/grades will be accepted. Or CIPS Qualification Route: Holding a CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in procurement and Supply. Or At least two years of relevant work experience in a business or procurement environment.
You will work 37 hours per week:

Yard Attendant
Reports to: Field Manager
The Yard Attendant assists with the daily organization, maintenance, and movement of equipment, tools, and materials within RP Constructors' yard and project support areas. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, safe operation of equipment, and a CDL Class A (no air brakes required) to support equipment transport and logistics. The ideal candidate is reliable, hard-working, and committed to building a long-term career with the company.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Equipment & Yard Operations
Load, unload, and stage equipment, tools, and materials for crews and projects.
Safely operate forklifts, loaders, telehandlers, skid steers, and other support equipment.
Perform equipment checks, minor repairs, greasing, fluid top-offs, and basic troubleshooting.
Assist mechanics with equipment maintenance or repairs as needed.
Keep the yard organized, clean, and efficient, including material storage and tool management.
Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries; verify accuracy and condition of shipments.
CDL Driving
Transport smaller equipment, tools, and materials between the yard and job sites using Class A vehicle (no air brake requirement).
Perform safe and compliant vehicle inspections, tie-downs, and load securement.
General Support
Assist with seasonal tasks (snow removal, winterization of equipment, etc.).
Maintain accurate logs for equipment usage, tool tracking, and yard inventory.
Support field crews and shop staff with miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Skills/Abilities:
Ability to diagnose basic issues; perform simple repairs, greasing, filter changes, and fluid checks; and assist mechanics.
Skilled in operating forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, and loaders safely and efficiently.
Proficient in operating Class A vehicles (no air brakes required) for short hauls and equipment delivery/pickup.
Competent in chaining, strapping, and securing loads to ensure safe transport.
Familiarity with construction tools, attachments, rigging, and equipment components.
Ability to keep the yard clean, organized, and efficient, including staging equipment for crews.
Qualifications:
CDL Class A required (no air brake endorsement needed).
Strong mechanical aptitude; prior experience in equipment maintenance or troubleshooting preferred.
Experience operating construction or industrial equipment.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
Team-oriented attitude with willingness to take direction and support multiple departments.

Job Summary
Environmental Services Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas for patients/residents, visitors and associates by following infection control, safety, and procedural guidelines. Tasks that the individual will be responsible for include but not limited to; emptying waste baskets, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Environmental Services Technicians will have access to pagers and other technology that they will be responsible to use appropriately when needed. Assist in the laundry areas as appropriate. Depending upon location and availability of programs, may have access to use of technology applications.
Physical activities include but not limited to, considerable use of arms and legs and moving of whole body; such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, twisting, squatting, and handling materials. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40-50lbs and push/pull up variable weight limits on flat surfaces or up and down ramps. This position will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of their shift. May be exposed to certain levels of noise with the equipment in operation.
Depending on location of position, work hours will vary depending on patient/resident needs. This may include overtime, call, backup call, nights, days, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred. Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful. Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful. Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required. Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
