Job Duties/Essential Functions * Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on assigned equipment and instrumentation * Troubleshoot and Repair six axis robotics and pick and place robotics * Electrical troubleshooting including PLC's using discreet and analog inputs/outputs * Troubleshoot and repair modern injection molding machines, including: hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and computer based machine issues * Troubleshoot and repair material conveying systems * Have the ability to operate man lifts to a height of 30feet * Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments * Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools, and examining form and texture of parts * Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments * Diagnose and repair electrical and pneumatic control system problems on production machinery, auxiliary equipment, and fixtures * Communicate with supervisor and production personnel to ensure efficient operations * Assist with set up and tear down of packaging line * This description is to be used as a guideline of responsibilities and does not constitute everything required of this position.
