What will you do:

* Minimum High School Diploma with 3 years clinical trials industry experience
* Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Engineering, or health-related field
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred

* Strong proficiency in project management methodologies, tools and best practices
* Advanced skills in budget management, forecasting, and financial tracking

**A Day in the** **Life:**
**Position Summary:** **Maintains master schedule via internal system Daily Production Scheduler (DPS) as well as individual department schedules. Reviews and updates Ad Tape and internal Booklet and Standard press schedules with accurate and update information, including target and max ship dates. Requires attention to detail. Reports to the Manager of Scheduling and Inventory Control.**
+ Schedules all manufacturing jobs and equipment for Bohemia with the goal of exceeding customer expectations but keeping in mind internal capabilities.
+ Distributes and keeps the "Daily Schedules" up to date daily utilizing internal proprietary scheduling database. (This includes the updating, printing and handing out of all applicable schedules before 8:30am)
+ Reviews and revise the master schedule daily with the manager of the department and makes changes as business needs dictate.
+ Reviews and revises individual department schedules, ( i.e. Ad Tape schedule, standard and internal booklet presses)
+ Advises department manager of any change in the status of jobs and/or potential problems.
+ Processes and responds to rush requests after reviewing with department management

How Will You Make an Impact?:
The Equipment Operator plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth clinical label manufacturing processes within a team that is dynamic and fast-paced, relying on teamwork, multitasking, and communication. They are responsible for operating and maintaining equipment used in the production of clinical trial study labels directly impacting the efficiency and quality of the manufacturing processes.
A Day in the Life:
Manufactures a wide array of label constructions using automated inkjet equipment following client-approved proofs and associated documentation to manufacture labels per established specifications.
Sets up computerization production runs and bulk transfer labels using the proprietary software application CLPS, as per department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) while monitoring all label production processing for accuracy and completeness by applying current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) in all areas of responsibility safely and efficiently.
Works independently in planning, setting up, and manufacturing a wide array of label constructions that meet client specifications while all equipment in the area of responsibility is maintained as per standard procedures and safety guidelines including keeping up with all current preventative maintenance practices and cleaning daily.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required!
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Technical Skills: Printing or manufacturing experience with proficiency in computer operations of transferring data, MS excel and outlook, file management, are required.
