Work as part of a team having responsibility for moving freight, stock, or other materials. Distribution Operators support the productivity of distribution operations by performing all tasks conducted by their team in the shipping and receiving process and rotating through different tasks during their shift as needed. This position is expected to work in 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities:
* Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, or containers by hand or using forklifts or other industrial vehicles
* Read and attach identifying tags to containers, material, or product packaging, or mark them with identifying information
* Communicate with Distribution Administration to ensure timely and complete delivery of product, materials, and equipment
* Inspect all incoming trailers and containers and document any damage to trailers or containers, or product, material, or equipment being transported
* Use computer inventory system to track and keep accurate inventory records
* Maintain a safe and accident free environment by adhering to safety standards and identifying safety issues and reporting them to his/her supervisor or the safety manager
* Shovel, sweep, wipe down, or otherwise clean work areas, equipment, tools, and machinery
Working Conditions
Requires considerable use of arms and legs, twisting of body, standing for long periods of time, and regularly lifting up to 40lbs. This position requires working in an environment with extreme temperatures and loud noises, and exposure to odors associated with melting plastics. Often requires operation of hoists, cranes, forklifts, or other industrial vehicles.

Education and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Material Management, Supply Chain, or evidence of in progress degree is preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent required and three to five years of purchasing experience and construction or manufacturing industry experience will be considered.
Military Service (including active National Guard and Reserves) is a plus.

Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills is a must
SAP ECC/Catalyst experience is preferred
Ability to analyze, compile data, review submittals and proposals, and identify cost savings opportunities

Performs duties in Arpac area such as but not limited to audits, rework, changing of film and stickers as required. Performs other duties as may be assigned.

**Your role at Clorox:**
The Process Operator will work in a dynamic team-based environment with the responsibility to safely produce the highest quality cat litter in the correct amount at the right cost. The Process Operator will:
· Adhere to all safety and quality standards and guidelines and repair and/or report unsafe conditions, near misses, and/or injuries in a timely manner.
· Operate, monitor, and adjust the equipment within the Process Department as needed.
· Review and reconcile system data as needed, create reports, and perform root cause analysis.
· Deliver against daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
· Leverage technology as needed to stay informed (ex: daily review of email, production schedules, troubleshooting guides, job aides, etc.)
· Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, mechanical and electrical equipment to the extent allowed by position training/certification.
· Ensure all area housekeeping tasks are completed and workplace organization is maintained.
· Participate in the creation of training documentation as well as support the training of new Operators.
· Complete routine and preventative maintenance for area equipment.
· Maintain inventory storage areas, including participation in cycle counts and/or wall-to-wall inventory counts as needed.
Hourly Compensation: $24.93 per hour plus $1.05 shift differential
Key Responsibilities:
· Unload and transport raw materials, equipment, and supplies from semi-trailers and railcars.
· Transport raw materials during product preparation.
· Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.
· Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.
· Add or mix chemicals or ingredients for processing, using hand tolls and other devices.
· Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors for further processing.
· Tend or operate machinery that produces product, regulating machine flow, speed, or temperature.
· Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a Team Lead or Manager.

· Unload, transport, and supply raw materials to spindles, conveyors, hoppers, or other feeding devices.
· Stock and sort product for process machine operation and replenish process supplies.

· Stack component items, or wrap protective material around each item, and pack the items in cartons or containers.
