I like job and most coworkers
Most ( where I work) of the Managers are very unethical. HR kows about their dishonesty and false reports but chooses not to do anything. They employ convicted violent offenders then tell employees that their safety is their highest concern. I do believe they are doing better about being a more "Green" company but are not aware that some of the manufacturing locations are filling their local trash dumps almost dailly . Its sad I do believe they ( Corporate ) if was made aware would address alot of the issues but are too far out of touch.
I like the job I do, the one I actually hired to do.
In the location I work I have lost all respect for the leadership in the last 4 to 5 years. That is a first for me.
Require Ethics trainning / classes for all Managers and HR personnel. Require HR to investigate before acting ,to be accountable and to hold Managers accountable and have reprecussions if they falsely reported an event.
Like anyone else
They are below what is considered average in my area.
It ok
My coworkers and I do like what I do. I am really good at my job.
Brand diversity and relationships with big box retailers like Target and Walmart to ensure in market product success.
Very weak HR function from top, down. HR manager, director, VPs see it as their job to partner with their functional counterparts, but not maintain a neutral, unbiased stance to protect employees from management. HR conducts “investigations” but they’re worthless and biased. HR function is just really, really weak. No performance reviews in over two years, no career planning, no skill/function standards for jobs.
CEO is an operator, turning the show around to recover dept, but innovation is suffering.
Have HR be decoupled from tangential functions, so they make decisions on employees well being and not what’s best for their own career trajectory.
It is lower than most companies.
I’m not sure about the DEI at Newell.
Working on impactful products.
I like the pay they give me, I like the job that I perform, I run a machine and I am constantly moving, and I do like the environment even though it is factory work.
I don't like that I work nights, I have always heard that graveyard shifts are called that for a reason. It does take a toll on you.
Once again I like the pay. But I do like working with the people
Work-life balance
I did not like that the locations are primarily on the east coast. Atlanta, GA isn't a city I see myself living in.
Discounts on products!
This company is very organized and fast paced
I enjoyed all the challenges this job brought me
My favorite perk is increasing my multitasking skills daily.
