    Primary Job Function The Quality Technician will provide support through precise laboratory testing, hands-on verification of Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, communication and collaboration with other departments to produce Safe, Quality products. The Quality Technician must have natural keen attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Performs and documents analysis of raw materials, intermediate and finished products. Interprets results based on trends, specification limits and comparison data * Performs troubleshooting and calibration of laboratory instruments. * Communicate internally and externally (verbal and written) with clarity and professionalism. Present information clearly and concisely. * Must have high attention to accuracy and detail. * Maintain the laboratory in a clean and orderly manner daily. * Be a role model for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). * Provide expertise to business units in troubleshooting Food Safety and Quality related problems. * Perform audits on equipment, material, processing and storage areas, products and procedures. * Manage inventory of chemicals and lab testing supplies. * Communicate detailed summary of incident and actions taken to departments affected and concerned, i.e. production, distribution, scheduling, etc. * Support and participate in safety activities. * Cross training to support other duties as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. * Adhere to all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules. * Responsible to report food safety and quality concerns to Supervision, Quality or Senior Management. Qualification Requirements * Computer skills (Microsoft office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and ERP system). * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. * Strong analytical problem-solving skills * Quality experience in a food manufacturing facility and/or laboratory preferred * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Education and Experience * Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience * Background and/or studies in Science and/or Lab environment a plus.

Qualification Requirements · Computer skills (Microsoft office, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and ERP system). · Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively. · Strong analytical problem-solving skills · Quality experience in a food manufacturing facility and/or laboratory preferred · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Education and Experience · Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience · Background and/or studies in Science and/or Lab environment a plus.
