**What You Will Do**

**What You Will Do**
+ Overall property underground excavation stability management functions.
+ Develop and review ground support designs for underground excavations to ensure a safe working environment based on relevant geological and stress conditions using empirical (Q or RMR), kinematic (un Wedge) and stress (RS3, phase 2) based analysis methods.
+ Manage and review underground excavation stability data collection, analysis and remedial work including underground excavation monitoring data processing, rock strength parameters, and geologic structures.
+ Communicate accurate, timely and relevant underground excavation stability and Geomechanical information to mine and site personnel, including site management, through appropriate methods such as reports and presentations.
+ Manage, conduct and communicate the results of inspections of underground excavations.
+ Manage contracted ground remediation projects such as chemical grout injection or liner application.
+ Proactively seek improvements to the safe mining of mine reserves relating to underground excavation monitoring, underground excavation maintenance, underground excavation support designs, Geomechanical data acquisition and analyses.
+ Develop, maintain and implement strategic plans to enhance the mine's underground excavation stability program.
+ Manage and provide Geomechanical project oversight and review relating to outside consultants.
+ Overall property slope management functions for existing slopes around surface facilities.
+ Usage of appropriate software (MS Office, AutoCAD) and Geotechnical data analysis, Mintec's MineSight (or equivalent), RocScience software including un Wedge, Phase2, RS3 and Dips.

**Description**
Skilled worker in the electrical/instrumentation field whose duties include, but are not limited to the removal, repair and installation of electrical components and basic to intermediate troubleshooting.
+ Perform safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs and construction
+ Perform preventive maintenance, installation and repair of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation equipment (i.e. substations, power distribution systems, switchgear motors, motor controls, systems and components, process controls, instrumentation and pneumatic equipment)

**What You Will Do**
+ Perform diagnostic, maintenance and repair of heavy equipment such as, but not limited to: Haul Trucks, Water Trucks, Rubber Tire and Track Dozers, Front-end Loaders, and Motor Graders.

Description
Under general supervision safely maintain, install, repair and troubleshoot multiple types of electrical systems and equipment in support of a Mill/Processing site.
* Removal, repair and installation of electrical systems and components within the following areas and systems: mill (primary/regrind), leach area, packing area, boiler room, reagent area, acid house, general mill, conveyor equipment, air, water and power line systems
* Perform equipment electrical analysis and diagnosis, advanced troubleshooting and systems/process optimization
* Work on switch gear and distribution including grounding, LOTOTO procedures, and use of jumper forms
* Perform preventative maintenance including checking motors, checking for ground loops, metering electrical circuits, calibrating equipment and completing additional checks
* Review, revise and create SOP's
* Perform NRC conduit bending and fastening: conduit, cable tray, grounds, boxes, and calculating loads and feeder sizes
* Train and mentor other Electrical department employees on:
* Proper testing of PPE
* Proper audit of Mill site
* Preventative maintenance (either electrical or instrumentation)
* Product flow and priorities
* New electrical installation
* Print reading
* Act as Fill-in Supervisor as needed
* May be required to use the following mobile equipment: forklifts, light duty vehicles, bucket trucks, high-lift trucks
* Perform other duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
* Completion of an approved Certified Electronics, Electrical and/or Instrumentation program, OR
* Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentation repair and maintenance, OR
* Associate's degree or Trade School Certification in a related field and two (2) years of experience in Industrial Electrical and/or Instrumentation repair and maintenance
* Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings/prints, and electronic prints
* Knowledge of proper SOP's
* Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required.
