Different attendees have had some very productive times at these retreats. Come find out when and where the next one is. I have a membership to Worldmark Resorts and they have 37 locations in the United States and different spots of the world. I do have to admit that when a bunch of friends and I went to Hawaii we didn't do any writing that weekend. And I feel really really bad about that. If you a nature nut (I'm a pecan) than the various locations should appeal to you.
If you would like to have a retreat for your own writing group and friends and simply want to use my condo points for a get-a-way. Contact me to see if we can schedule it. I have access to condos around the nation

Staff Writer
News Writer Job In Draper, UT
Who We're Looking For - Staff Writer
In recent years many publications have raised the bar for the quality and depth of product reviews, but we know we can do better. Reviews.org is a website that reviews tech products and services, and our goal is to use a combination of first-hand testing, proprietary user data, and old-fashioned journalistic outreach and research to make our reviews better than any you can find on the internet, flat out.
In order to meet our goal, we need an ambitious staff writer with a background in journalism or digital media to research and write reviews that offer valuable insights for our readers. We're looking for someone who is excited at the idea of producing high-quality service journalism that helps consumers make better decisions. We need someone who has the chops to track down sources-ranging from industry experts to regular customers-and use interviews to drive research and guide conclusions. We want someone who is eager to follow industry developments, think critically about tech jargon and marketing claims, and contribute fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
Many great candidates may not match perfectly with every line of this job description, and that's totally ok. We know there are people with different experiences and backgrounds who would be awesome for this role, so if any of the above excites you, please reach out and let's start talking.
We are a dedicated-and profitable-team that values transparency, direct feedback, and taking care of one another. We are taking a big step forward this year and we hope you can be the one to help us do that!
The Impact You Will Make:
Research, test, interview, write, and publish pieces covering products and services in the internet industry-including internet plans, mobile hotspots, bundle deals, and more.
Contribute occasional pieces about mobile, home security, and TV/streaming, as needed.
Write consumer guides that incorporate conversations with actual people to make technical concepts around the internet accessible and understandable to readers.
Maintain existing content to make sure it remains up to date and accurate and meets content quality standards.
Collaborate with SEO specialists, marketing managers, UX experts, commercial partner liaisons, and digital PR specialists to optimize your content for users, SEO, and conversions.
Keep close tabs on developments in the internet industry and turn your expertise into creative ideas to help users make better buying decisions.
Write both long- and short-form content across multiple channels (mostly organic search and PPC but also video, social, etc.).
