Coordinate all aspects of patient and resident admissions to the center, working cohesively with care team members for a safe, seamless transition
Develop relationships within key referral sources, physicians/health care professionals
Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed admission and Key Account Management goals

Champion quality of care and advocate of the customer experience

This position will be responsible for self pay accounts and occasionally may assist with charge analyst duties.
The right candidate for this position must be organized and have strong customer service and computer skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families and outside vendors. Applies common sense and logic in the performance of job duties and responding to patient and guarantor needs. Must be adept at managing varying duties and multiple tasks.
This position will help process healthcare assistance applications so math skills are required, and knowledge of IRS documents highly preferred.
At times, this position assists our Charge Analyst by entering charges, researching charge issues, and following up with other departments in order to complete charge corrections. Therefore, understanding of revenue codes and charge codes is a plus.
Knowledge of medical billing is required with overall knowledge of 3rd party payers and healthcare business office procedures. Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding is preferred.

Managing self-pay patient accounts with accuracy and professionalism
Communicating effectively with patients, families, vendors, and internal departments
Processing healthcare assistance applications and reviewing financial documentation
Applying sound judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve account issues
