This position will help process healthcare assistance applications so math skills are required, and knowledge of IRS documents highly preferred. At times, this position assists our Charge Analyst by entering charges, researching charge issues, and following up with other departments in order to complete charge corrections. Therefore, understanding of revenue codes and charge codes is a plus. Knowledge of medical billing is required with overall knowledge of 3rd party payers and healthcare business office procedures. Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding is preferred.
