Zaid Ashai is a General Partner at Point Judith Capital. As Chairman and CEO, Zaid Ashai provides the vision and leadership to drive our continued growth and innovation. Before joining the management team, Zaid oversaw Nexamp as a General Partner at Point Judith Capital. Previously, Zaid worked at Good Energies, a global Clean Technology venture capital firm, where he focused on investments in next-generation energy efficiency technologies—including Nexamp, 3TIER, Emergence Bioenergy, Everpower, and Kalpan in India. Zaid has also worked for HarbourVest Partners, a global private equity firm, and as an investment banking analyst in Credit Suisse’s Technology Group. Zaid currently serves on the boards of Nexamp, MyEnergy, Power Assure, and Retroficiency, and previously served on the boards of 3TIER, Kalpan Hydro, and Emergence Bioenergy.

Peter Tawczynski leads Nexamp’s project finance team and is responsible for structured equity transactions, including tax equity, debt financing and portfolio acquisitions. Prior to joining Nexamp, Peter was an Experienced Manager with Grant Thornton, LLP where he was responsible for managing engagement teams in providing external audit services, under SEC reporting requirements, to NASDAQ- and NYSE-listed companies with both domestic and international operations. Peter also performed a secondment in Australia, where he provided external audit services under IFRS. Peter earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

A versatile communications executive with more than 20 years in a variety of professional settings that include publicly-traded companies, non-profit boards, large PR agencies, boutique PR agencies, academia, and startups. In each role, Chris has demonstrated excellence as a leader, team builder and problem solver, contributing material impacts to each organization.

Stuart Patterson is a Chief Executive Officer at Nexamp, Advisor & Co-founder at LifePod, and President at Advisors LLP and is based in Hingham, Massachusetts. He has worked as Product Manager, Videotex Software at HEWLETT-PACKARD FRANCE; Board Member at Speechworks; and President & COO, Director at Sidekicks. Stuart studied at Yale School of Management, Northfield Mount Hermon School, and Harvard University.
