Primary Purpose
An entry-level to mid-level attorney responsible for providing full legal service to DER interconnection business clients under the supervision of a managing or supervising attorney. Carries out legal assignments, including research and preparation of contracts, memorandums of law, and providing general business support. Primary Duties
Performs broad and moderately complex legal assignments that are varied. Minimum Qualifications

Overview

Compensation and Benefits
This is a full‑time salaried position based in Seattle, WA, with flexible work arrangements available. This role will require flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends, and to conduct travel throughout Washington State, the greater Pacific Northwest region and British Columbia.
Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, anticipated range $140,000 to $180,000, depending on background and demonstrated expertise.

Overview
We are seeking an Intellectual Property Attorney to join our Intellectual Property Law Department (IPLD) within Aramco's Law Organization.

Minimum Requirements
As a successful candidate you will have:
A Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent.

Demonstrable experience of preparing and prosecuting patent applications.

Experience drafting and negotiating IP agreements, including research collaboration and IP license agreements.

You will help to evolve Nexamp's Operations Center as the portfolio grows and will participate in scheduled shiftwork operations. You will also mentor and train a team of Distributed Generation Operators (DGOs) in the monitoring, remote troubleshooting and operation of Nexamp and third-party owned assets. You will report to the Manager, Nexamp Operations Center. This role will be an in-person, rotating shift-based role out of our Lawrence, MA, Operations Center.
What you'll do:
Operate solar, storage, and future utility-scale and microgrid assets in a high-impact control room, ensuring compliance with utility, market, and federal regulations.
Monitor and control Nexamp's 1+ GW fleet, identifying alarms, anomalies, and performance issues to maintain stable, efficient operations.
Apply critical thinking during abnormal conditions and undocumented events to ensure safety and power continuity.
Lead and train DGOs in remote operations, troubleshooting, utility coordination, and emergency response.
Help develop and refine SOPs, including procedures for future utility-scale assets.
Optimize operations based on defined protocols to maximize revenue and savings for our customers while meeting safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with ISOs, transmission operators, and field personnel for maintenance planning and response to disruptions.
Follow escalation protocols and respond to abnormal conditions in accordance with SOPs.
Record system data, maintain accurate logs, and generate reports as required.
Operate using a variety of data acquisition, SCADA, original equipment manufacturer, and monitoring tools to identify, track, and resolve real-time issues and lifecycle underperformance.
Maintain constant vigilance and readiness during shifts, ensuring rapid, informed responses to any operational event.
Complete all required internal and external training, including NERC/ISO certifications, as applicable.
Collaborate across departments to provide operational feedback and support continuous improvement across all aspects of our fully vertically integrated renewable energy business.
What you'll bring:
A 2-year degree in Electrical Technology/Engineering (Bachelor's degree preferred) or equivalent experience is required.
2+ years of relevant work experience in a generation control room or high-tempo watch-standing environment (military, maritime, or utility).
Proficiency in SCADA systems, MS Office Suite, and digital monitoring platforms.
Basic understanding of the Bulk Electric System, renewable power generation, and high-voltage transmission.
Ability and availability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, 365 days a year, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to cover open shifts as needed and travel for training or remote site work (occasional overnight).
Willingness and ability to develop and complete an extensive in-house training program as well as NERC or ISO equivalent certification programs in order to pass a certification exam and/or meet industry requirements and subsequently maintain these qualifications, as required.

Compensation
The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Nexamp ranges from $39/hour - $42/hour.
