Ready for a new challenge? Summary of Position As the In-Game Merchandising Specialist for Global MapleStory, you will be the primary trendsetter/influencer for our Western player base. Your mission is to curate and suggest cosmetic content-including NX outfits, hair/face styles, and pets-that resonates with North American and European fashion trends. You will translate "Real-World" Western aesthetics (Streetwear, Y2K, Cottagecore, Anime, etc.) into MapleStory, ensuring our monetization strategy feels culturally relevant and exciting to players. We are currently working in the office 2-3x a week in a hybrid work model. Job Responsibilities Forecast emerging trends and translate insights into strategic recommendation decks: Monitor US/Western fashion platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and streetwear culture to identify upcoming aesthetic trends suitable for Global MapleStory. Creating and maintaining recommendation decks, seasonal aesthetic briefs, and cosmetic reference packages for art teams. Provide written and visual feedback on a regular basis (weekly to bi-weekly) on cosmetic concepts prior to production and release. Product Curation: Suggest and pitch "Surprise Style Box" (SSB) rotations and permanent Cash Shop additions based on seasonality and Western-specific holidays. Sales Analysis: Analyze performance data of previous cosmetic launches to identify which themes/styles (e.g., edgy/dark vs. cute/pastel) drive the highest engagement and revenue. Community Pulse: Actively monitor community hubs (Reddit, Discord, Twitter) to understand player wishlists for legacy items or specific style categories. Guide the direction of Cash Shop Visuals that are player facing Other duties as assigned Work Experience 3+ years in Fashion Buying/Merchandising, or Trend Forecasting, preferably in Gaming Expert proficiency in creating high-quality Mood Boards (Pinterest, PureRef, Milanote) to communicate visual direction to artists. You are deeply immersed in online culture. You consume content on TikTok, Instagram, ArtStation, and Reddit to spot visual trends as they are forming, not after they have peaked. Proficient in analyzing sales data from previous cosmetics and identifying aesthetic patterns (e.g., "Our players buy x item for this appeal versus other items" ). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES With moderate supervision, responsible for the following Regulatory activities: • Develop and implement regulatory strategies and processes to ensure timely global commercialization of products in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. • Author regulatory submissions and assessments for class II and III medical devices to be distributed in the US to ensure timely global commercialization of products in compliance with applicable regulations and standards. • Author technical files and design dossiers for products to be distributed in the EU. • Prepare international documentation to support product registration internationally. • Directly communicate with FDA and other Regulatory agencies in preparing responses to submissions and in support of agency audits. • Evaluate proposed changes to product design or manufacturing processes and assess impact of the proposed changes with regard to worldwide approvals and internal BWI policies and procedures. • Participate on new product development teams. • Review and approve new product development and product modification documentation. • Write, review and revise company SOPs as required. • Communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level. • Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. • Perform other duties assigned as needed. Qualifications • BS degree in Engineering, Physical or Biological science + a minimum of 4 - 6 years experience in Regulatory experience or advanced degree + 2 - 4 years experience in Regulatory Affairs. You will oversee quality execution across development and live service, ensuring a high-quality, scalable, and reliable player experience. You will sit at the intersection of development, live operations, and player quality, serving as a critical partner across multiple teams throughout the product lifecycle. You will lead QV strategy, people management, and cross-team collaboration while being the primary QV leader for Battlefield's Free-to-Play and Battle Royale products. You will report directly to Director of Software Delivery, Battlefield QV. We are a hybrid remote/in-office team. Responsibilities * Live Service Quality & Game Operations * Lead quality strategy for live service operations supporting Battlefield's Free-to-Play and Battle Royale experiences. * Partner with Game Operations, Live Service, and Development leadership to anticipate risks, establish quality guardrails, and ensure smooth daily live operations. * Oversee monitoring of real-time game health metrics, error logs, crash data, and service telemetry to identify trends and lead quality improvements. * Lead release readiness, live-site incident response, and post-release quality evaluations, ensuring quality with internal and external partners. * Use data and insights to assess release progress, readiness, and approval. * Development Support & Pre-Release Quality * Oversee QV execution for in-development features from concept through submission and live deployment. * Partner with Engineering, Production, Design, and Product teams to define test strategies, quality requirements, and acceptance criteria. * Standardize and improve workflows and planning practices across the Battlefield franchise to lead predictability and delivery confidence. * Ensure test strategies, coverage, and validation approaches scale for high-frequency Free-to-Play and Battle Royale content updates. * Coordinate agreement on priorities, risks, and quality outcomes throughout development. * Quality Strategy & Continuous Improvement * Advance QV practices across Battlefield by advocating for defect prevention, improving containment strategies, and expanding test automation and tooling. * Promote data-informed decision-making through the use of telemetry, insights, and quality metrics. * Contribute to studio-wide and franchise-level plans that enhance quality standards player experience. People Leadership * Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Quality Designers and QV leaders, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and long-term career development. * Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and player-first thinking. * Ensure team structure, resourcing, and skills align with our product needs. Qualifications Required * Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in the games or software industry. * 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Verification within game or software development or related field. * At least 4 years of experience in a leadership or people-management role. * Experience supporting live service, Free-to-Play, or Battle Royale products, including post-launch operations. * Proven ability to collaborate effectively with partners and distributed teams. * Experience presenting to senior leadership and team verbally and in writing. * Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality player and product experiences. Relevant * Familiarity with common game development engines and toolsets (e.g., Unreal, Unity). * Experience with industry-standard project and test management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, DevTest, or TestRail. * Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. * Experience using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). * Familiarity with test automation frameworks and telemetry or observability systems.
