Specifically, we're looking for a Commercial Counsel, Procurement to join our Commercial Legal team. In this role, you'll work closely with individuals across the organization in support of various legal-related matters, with a primary focus on supporting procurement and vendor onboarding. You will be reporting to the Managing Commercial Counsel, Procurement. This role is based in our San Francisco or Chicago office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in‑office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What you'll achieve: Strategically partner with our internal business stakeholders to draft and negotiate inbound commercial agreements and supporting documents. Provide timely and practical legal advice on a variety of requests, taking into account the relevant legal issues and risks, agreement structure, approval process, and company policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including Finance, Sourcing, Procurement Ops, Privacy, and Security, to develop processes and enforce applicable policies as they relate to global commercial contracting. Enable and train internal stakeholders by providing direct guidance on commonly requested revisions and non‑standard terms and structures and respond to general process questions. Apply original, innovative thinking on a continuous basis to improve processes and systems, manage change, and better service business needs, including developing scalable contracting frameworks, playbooks, and standards to support a business in high‑growth mode. Support and manage a variety of ad‑hoc projects with the team as they arise. Stay abreast of emerging laws, regulations, and judicial decisions relevant to our business, conduct thorough research and analysis to understand the implications and potential impact of these developments, and share knowledge with colleagues and develop guidance materials, as necessary. About you: 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably working in‑house at a SaaS technology company. Law degree from an accredited law school and admitted to practice law in the U.S. Prior experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (including the purchase of goods contracts, services agreements, consulting agreements, and licensing and SaaS agreements), and supporting agreements, such as DPAs, BAAs, and AI terms. Excellent legal and business judgment, integrity, and emotional intelligence; able to quickly assess material risks, provide practical guidance, and make the complicated understandable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and comfortably with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated success working cross‑functionally with People, Enterprise Technology, Security, Privacy, and Sourcing to set objectives and produce meaningful results that have tangible business impact. Demonstrates curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them to enhance productivity, collaboration, or decision‑making. Ability to prioritize, organize, and work efficiently and independently in a high‑volume, results‑oriented environment. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities •Primary focus is on providing comprehensive clinical services and therapy which includes biopsychosocial assessments, screening and placement for level of care, diagnosis, individual psychotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, brief interventions utilizing evidence-based care and tools and educational counseling services to a caseload of person's served consisting of adults and children. •Community- based mental health services which includes services in the persons served home, school or community location in addition to office and telehealth clinical services. •BHP Licensed Psychotherapists are expected to complete the Certificate of Professional Initiating Involuntary Examination form for any individual meeting Baker Act criteria in their presence. •BHPs and mandatory providers are expected to adhere to all Florida mandatory reporting laws in addition to but not limited to child abuse and elderly abuse. •Complete all required documentation utilizing Collaborative Documentation and all agency formats/standards •Maintain on-going relationships with community agencies and function as a liaison with identified individuals/organizations •Participate in community education/activities program presentations as required JOB DESCRIPTION •Participate in on-going improvement and utilization review activities as well as BHS scheduled training, meetings, and clinical supervision sessions •Adhere to training requirements of BHS •Utilize the current data/clinical computer program (Electronic Health Records System) necessary to perform billing and clinical documentation •Provide services that are medically/clinically necessary •Continually assess for potential risk of crisis, suicide, self-harm and/or homicide. •Collaborate with individual on a clinically appropriate safety plan •Collaborates with other providers on the person's served integrated team other treatment team members regarding person's served progress and needs. •Prepare and works with the person served in transition/discharge planning and relapse prevention •Follow instructions regarding limitation for services brought by utilization management (UM Department) •Adhere to the high standards of health care ethics and quality within this professional field, strictly following agency rules and protocols as well as established regulations. •Attend and participate in supervision sessions as scheduled; applying evidenced-based practices that are embraced by BHS Behavioral Health Practice Guidelines. •Always maintain professionalism, including professional behavior and attire •Meet all deadlines including but not limited to schedules, documentation and timesheets •Performs with excellent people skills by offering requested information, orientation and/or support to the person served in a caring and respectful attitude. •Adhere to all BHS incident reporting and policies.
