Pride Health is hiring an Injury Prevention Specialist (Athletic Trainer) to support workplace wellness initiatives. This 13 Weeks Contract focuses on injury mitigation and musculoskeletal health, with potential for long-term growth and development.
Job Description:
The Injury Prevention Specialist will be expected to proactively analyze tasks for potential ergonomic and safety issues, perform biomechanical and ergonomic assessments, provide first aid care to injured employees, and execute other injury prevention activities.
The IPS will provide conservative care to injury Associates but also observe Associates performing their job task and educate them on ways to perform their tasks effectively with less stress to the irritated body part.
Onsite IPSs will proactively observe ergonomic practices and educate associates to improve technique prior to the onset of soreness or injury.
Key Responsibilities
Provide triage, first aid, and referrals to external medical providers as needed.
Maintain records of all first aid care provided.
Lead injury prevention initiatives, including awareness, education, and daily stretching routines.
Evaluate trends in soft tissue injuries and create actionable plans to address them.
Provide daily activity logs and monthly incident analysis to safety and leadership teams.
Offer job placement accommodation recommendations for employees with medical restrictions.
Collaborate with teams to enhance standard work processes and improve body mechanics.
Spend time on the warehouse floor to interact with associates and managers, providing coaching and support.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
Certified Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association or equivalent state certification.
Bachelor's degree required.
Valid CPR Certification (Basic Life Support or Professional Rescuer level).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Information:
Location: Ontario, CA 91761
Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 12PM -10:30PM/ Wednesday - Saturday 12PM-10:30PM
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: $45 - $53.57/hour
*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.

Sports Camp is in session June 1 -August 21. Our classic day camps feature arts & crafts, STEAM projects, and sports. Specialty camps include visual arts, nature exploration, musical theater, science and more.
The Sports Specialist will create, organize, and implement multiple 1-week sessions of camp for up to 12 weeks. The camps that the Sports Specialist will be responsible for are Game Days, Basketball, Flag Football, Olympic Games, Ultimate Frisbee and Volleyball. Sports Camp is offered for campers in grades 1-5. Campers will be introduced to the world of all things sports and hone their skills through hands-on experience.
The ideal candidate should have strong classroom management skills and must be able to implement a well-rounded sports curriculum for youth ages 6- 11.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Be the primary role model for a group of campers, grades K through 5

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Ascendigo Lake Sports Specialists work closely with the Lake Program team to provide a safe and fun lake experience for our participants. Lake Sports Specialists constantly monitor the lake location to ensure the safety of campers and staff alike. Lake Sports specialists help the lake team facilitate lake activities with our participants including, but not limited to, driving boats, towing participants (wakeboarders, wake surfers, water skiers, and tubers), towing boats on the highway, monitoring the safety of the campers while on the boat, etc. Specialists work in proximity with our campers and may need to assist with behavior prevention & mitigation and activities of daily living such as toileting and hygiene.
TASKS
Work directly with clients who have challenging behaviors that may include physical aggression toward others.
Act as direct support to someone with autism through a full day of outdoor recreational
Work in an outdoor environment requires situational awareness and quick
Collaborate with Ascendigo Coaches and Interns to create sport lessons plans and goals that meet the clients needs.
Act as a teacher and advocate for clients
Accompany and teach clients skill acquisition, and behavior reduction in social, community, recreation, leisure, and other program settings
Build a positive rapport with clients and facilitate FUN!
Oversee client well-being and safety in a camp
Work positively as a team with all Ascendigo staff members
Attend client and staff meetings and training as necessary
Communicate with staff effectively
Analyze and monitor lake sites for risk and mitigate risk
Proficient in driving speed boats
Proficient in towing athletes (wake surfers, wake boarders, water skiers, tubers)
Able to tow loaded boat trailers on the highways
Boat mechanical knowledge preferred
IN ADDITION
Must maintain a valid drivers license and excellent driving record
Must have a clean background check with no felonies or flags
Must provide a current CPR/First Aid certification
Applicants are required to have and use their own phone for work duties
Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, social media)
Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 pounds)
