Position Specific Description NextEra Energy is currently searching for a Sr Corporate Finance Analyst for our Treasury organization. Treasury group provides shared services and resources for NextEra Energy and all of its subsidiaries. The Sr Corporate Finance Analyst will be a key part of a team that is responsible for the execution of corporate financing transactions for NextEra Energy and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities will include financial analysis, financial modeling, managing due diligence and negotiating financing documents. The position will work with financial institutions and cross functional teams throughout the company to execute tax equity and capital markets financing transactions. The incumbent will also support Treasury's compliance responsibilities. To be successful in this role, this candidate will need to be an effective communicator of both written and verbal, in addition to possessing exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong finance background, and a solid working knowledge of accounting principles and financial techniques. You will be given high levels of ownership and responsibility, and requires an acute attention to detail and an ability to multitask. Position Specific Description Job Title: Decision Science Manager Location: Juno Beach, FL (On-Site) Role purpose: The Risk Decision and QA Manager upholds and evolves the organization's risk assessment standards by defining quality expectations, supporting adoption, and leading quality assurance activities for new risk methodologies. You are a subject-matter expert who guides, trains, and provides feedback to ensure consistent application across business teams and continuous improvement in risk management quality and accountability. Primary responsibilities * Maintain and continuously improve the organization's risk assessment standards, QA frameworks, and methodological guidance to ensure consistency and rigor across teams * Conduct sample-based reviews and QA of project risk assessments to verify adherence to standards and identify process gaps or inconsistencies * Develop supporting templates and tooling (e.g., assumption libraries) to help consistently assess and present risks in a standardized format * Coach and upskill SME teams by hosting office hours, and serving as expert on risk assessment methodology * Recommend remediations for knowledge / capability gaps, including methodology enhancements or tailored coaching for individuals or teams * Collaborate with Tech teams to ensure QA requirements are supported with technology platforms (e.g., user interface, Monte Carlo engines) * Share QA findings with project teams to inform planning and governance, highlight recurring risk issues, and drive improvements in how risks are assessed Skills * Strong foundation in quantitative risk modeling, simulation techniques (e.g., P90/P50/P10), and statistical QA * Proficiency with tools such as @Risk, Crystal Ball, Python, or R for technical QA * Experience conducting model audits or formal quality assurance processes, such as sampling techniques or back-testing methodologies * Skilled educator and coach - able to simplify technical concepts for varied audiences * Detail-oriented with the ability to spot inconsistencies and anticipate downstream risk implications * Strong sense of accountability and integrity in enforcing standards, with the confidence to challenge business teams constructively when risk assessments deviate from expectations Desired Experience / Accreditations * 5-10 years of experience in risk and statistical analysis * Demonstrated ability to develop and institutionalize quality assurance frameworks * Experience driving culture change and upskilling teams in probabilistic or standards-based risk methods * FRM, CFA, CPA, PMP, or related certifications preferred Job Overview
