**Position Specific Description**
We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Production Technician. This is an operations position that requires shift work. 12 hour rotating shifts 0600 to 1800, and 1800 to 0600. The selected candidate for this position will be responsible for operating a combined cycle power plant in Orlando, Florida and a simple cycle power plant in Cocoa, Florida. Other duties will include maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
+ Two years power plant, industrial turbine, or equivalent military experience is required.
+ Combined cycle operations experience is highly desirable.
+ Practical knowledge of the both the Rankine and Brayton operating cycles is desirable.
+ Experience with a computer maintenance management system (like Maximo) is desirable.
+ Experience with GE MK and Emerson Ovation control systems desirable.
+ Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience desirable.

NextEra Energy is seeking a technical individual to be part of the Power Generation Solar Operations Team. Associate PGD Field Engineer shall be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the large scale universal solar and or battery facilities inside the state of Florida.
This individual is responsible as the site safety manager to ensure all personnel and equipment onsite are safe and that the site/s are in environmental compliance with all required regulatory permit requirements.
