Candidate is expected to achieve operational excellence and foster a collaborative environment to meet the long-term vision of the department. Responsibilities: Own the NPI Journey: Drive product and supply chain readiness for all NPI builds from concept phase to production handoff, partnering with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, product management, sourcing, manufacturing, R&D, systems, applications, quality/reliability, project services, asset management teams and externally with global vendors (CMs) to ensure success. Own developing and executing program plans, enabling prototype builds, engineering test builds, interaction with engineering and drive production line readiness plus ramp plans for products deployed in global market. Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Engineering Program Manager to lead the development and deployment of wire management solutions that are critical to Nextpower's systems. Qualifications: * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related field. * Minimum of 15 years of engineering experience and 10 years of experience with utility scale generation, in particular transmission connected PV, energy storage, and/or other IBRs, and DER. * In-depth knowledge of ISO/RTO interconnection processes (PJM, MISO, CAISO, ERCOT, etc.). * Experience with FERC regulations, NERC reliability standards, PURPA, and their application. * Familiarity with grid modeling tools for interconnection and stability studies. * Familiarity with interconnection standards: IEEE 1547, IEEE 2030, IEEE 2800, etc. * Strong ability to interpret and communicate regulatory/technical requirements to cross-functional teams. * Experience preparing regulatory filings, compliance documentation, and technical reports. * Demonstrated success engaging with ISOs, utilities, or regulatory agencies. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.     Position Overview: Nextpower is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Power Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and optimization of power electronics systems for Nextpower innovative energy conversion products. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions while collaborating with a world-class team of engineers and researchers. Responsibilities: * Own the development of multiple power converters to production, spanning from a few hundred watts to several Mega watts, collaborating within a team environment. * Develop AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power conversion solutions tailored to NEXTpower's ecosystem. * Design and develop digital and analog circuits for power electronics systems, encompassing gate drivers, sensors, switched-mode power supplies, processors, and safety critical functions from inception to completion. Apply expertise in DFM and WCA, to ensure robust and cost-effective designs. * Design and optimize magnetic components. hands-on experience with EMI filter designs for power converters and compliance testing and thorough knowledge of EMC test standards. * Work closely with power conversion mechanical engineers to integrate power electronics systems into the full product architectures and optimize thermal management solutions. * Collaborate with firmware engineers to develop and implement control algorithms and system-level diagnostics. * Address challenges at scale to achieve industry-leading reliability, efficiency, and performance. * Support product NPI and product tester development at CM. Qualifications: * Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field. * 15+ years industry experience with 10+ years of experience in power electronics design and development for mass production, preferably in energy sectors. * Proven track record of designing and delivering high-performance power electronics systems from concept to mass production. * Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, magnetic components, and control theory. * Experience in leading technical teams or mentoring engineers. * Strong background in capture and PCB layout tools, particularly Altium Designer, to design and develop electrical systems for sustainable energy solutions. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex electrical systems. * Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and functions. * Passion for sustainable energy solutions, with a desire to drive positive change through innovation.
